Man, where the hell does time go these days? It’s Saturday again and that means it’s time to take a closer look at 5 dialed BMX parts you could probably use on your bike! These 4130 straight gauge chromoly bars have a rise of 8.15″, a width of 28″, 10-degrees of back sweep and 5-degrees of upsweep. Due for a new back hub? Check out the V2 cassette from Madera. This hub that is made right here in the U.S.A starts out with an alloy hub shell that features a flange design that helps to protect your spokes. Inside, you can find a hollow 14mm chromoly axle, two sealed bearings, and a one-piece chromoly driver with 4 sealed bearings inside for a smooth ride and some alloy axle nuts to keep it all tight.
You can also upgrade to a female aluminum axle with a 3/8″ chromoly bolts if that’s what you’re looking for as well!
The V2. Cassette comes in left or right side drive with driver options of 9, 10 or 11-tooth, or 12-18 tooth cog options with colors of black, matte red, Nickle and Snow for color options and a weight of 16.6 oz.

Thinking about getting a little more height from your bars? Check out the Salvation topload stem from Cult. This Stem is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum with a real clean look with additional machining on the bottom to help save weight and a rounded rear to keep those knees happy. This stem has a reach of 52mm, stack height of 29.2mm, rise of 31.8mm and a Machined Cult logo on the front plate for some bonus style points. The Salvation stem is available in black, red, raw and Rasta with a weight of 10.6 oz.

If you’re into plastic pegs, but haven’t had very good luck with them, maybe the new Scott Ditchburn “Slide or Die” pegs from The Shadow Conspiracy are what you’re looking for. These pegs start out with a heat-treated and butted chromoly insert with a 4mm thick plastic sleeve that slides on and locks in place with their unique Sleeve Lock design. The peg is 104mm long and has a diameter of 39mm so it is not bulky and is the same size of a regular metal peg. The Slide or Die peg weighs in at 5.3 oz and comes in black only.

If you’re starting to think about picking up a new frame, you should take a peek at Jason Enns’ new signature Cerberus frame from Volume Bikes that’s due out soon! This frame is made from fully heat-treated 4130 Sanko chromoly tubing with a 75.25-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.7″ bottom bracket height, 8.75″ stand over height and a 13.50″ to 14″ chain stay length. The frame featuures a double butted front triangle with gussets on the top and down tube, 7mm thick investment cast drop outs with build in chain tensioners, removable seat stay brake mounts and an integrated seat post clamp. This frame is available in 20.8″ and 21″ top tube lengths with color options of flat black or chrome and a weight of 5 lbs. even (20.8″).
