You can find features like a one-piece butted steerer tube with a built in bearing race, extra trie clearance for tires up for 2.425″ wide, an improved steerer tube and leg junction for increased strength, 5mm investment cast hollow drop outs and a 6061 pre-load bolt that fits 6mm allen key’s. Due for a new stem but you don’t have a bunch of cash to drop? Have you checked out the Freeze top load stem from Sunday? This die-cast aluminum stem with a forged 6061-T6 aluminum top plate has a reach of 52mm, stack height of 33mm and a rise of 34mm (1mm when inverted). You can find 6 bolts between the top plate and the pinch bolts on the side. The Freeze comes in colors of black, raw, polished, Watermellon green, blue, red, Vapor blue, Florescent yellow and white with a weight of 10.5 oz.
