Products: Vol. 81

It’s Saturday and you know what that means! Time to take a closer look at a couple dialed BMX products that you just might need! This week we have a bunch of fresh items like the new Duff Cruiser seat from Cult, the new t-shirts from Freed Bikes, the Manroid bars from Mutiny Bikes, the Ghost hub from Demolition and then we’ll wrap things up with Ben Hennon’s signature Lady Luck frame from Hoffman Bikes. Ready? Let’s do this!

So you like The Simpsons? I’m sure by now you have seen the collaboration that Cult is working on with them? They introduced the Duff Cruiser a few weeks back, but now if you can’t get your hands on the bike, you can at least get the pivotal seat! The Duff seat is a mid style seat with plenty of padding and features a vinyl cover with the Duff Beer logo on it. This seat comes in orange with the gold back with a weight of 12.3 oz. and is a definite must have for any Simpsons fan.

You can pick this seat up for $32.99 on Dan’s Comp or you can have your local shop hit up Tip Plus (West coast), Greenhouse (Midwest) or Animal (East coast) to get you one ordered up today!

Due for some new threads? Always good to keep it fresh. The crew at Freed Bikes just released 4 new shirts for you to try on. The Old School, Phoenix and both of the Satisfaction shirts are made right here in America with 100% premium cotton on regular fit blanks. The Old School and Phoneix both come in red, where the Satisfaction comes in tan with the logo on the front and white with the logo on the back. All of the shirts come in sizes of medium, large and extra large.

You can pick up each shirt for $19.99 in the Freed Bikes Webstore or by having your local shop hit them up direct!

Looking for some new bars? Maybe you should man up and get the updated Manroids from Mutiny Bikes? These 4130 bars featuring muti-butted tubing with thicker gauging in key stress points and have a post-weld 420 heat-treating to increase the strength of these even more. The bars come with a rise of 8.7″, 30″ width, 12-degrees of backsweep and 4-degrees of upsweep. These bars are available in black, chrome and silver with a weight of 29.3 oz.

You can pick the Manroid bars up for $79.99 on Dan’s Comp or you can have your local shop hit up Sparky’s Distribution to get you a set ordered up today!

That front wheel of yours seen better days? Time to get a new hub? Take a look at the Ghost hub from Demolition. This 36 hole hub starts out with a 4140 aluminum shell that features low flanges for a clean look and to keep those spokes protected during grinding. Inside you can find a 14mm heat-treated chromoly female axle with 2-large sealed bearings that are pushed further into the hub shell to help prevent blow outs and bearing movement and then two 3/8″ bolts to keep the whole setup tight. If you’re into grinding, you can also get 7075 aluminum guard that screws on and is sold separately (hub guards a super good idea to help extend the life of your hubs dramatically if you grind). The Ghost hub comes in colors of black, red, cyan, purple and polished with a weight of 9.6 oz.

You can pick the Ghost hub up by having your local shop get ahold of 180 Distribution today!

The frame features a gusset on the down tube, removable brake mounts, an integrated seat post clamp, mid bottom bracket and 4mm thick heat-treated drop outs. The Lady Luck frame comes in top tube sizes of 20.75″ and 21″ with colors of gloss black, raw with a blue clear coat and chrome plated and a weight of 4 lbs. 14 oz. (21″).
