Another week has flown by. The annual Interbike madness has subsided and things are smooth again. Looking to get yourself a new cassette hub? Have you checked out the V2 Cassette from Madera? This alloy hub that is made right here in the U.S.A by Profile Racing has a hollow 14mm chromoly axle and a 4-pawl chromoly 1-piece driver that comes in 9, 10 and 11 tooth options. The hub features 6 sealed bearings (4 in the driver, 2 in the hub shell) with right or left hand drive versions available. You can also get this hub in a female version with an aluminum center axle and 3/8th’s chromoly bolts or a 14mm gun drilled hollow axle with aluminum nuts. You can pick up the Cassette V2. hub in black, Fall red, snow and the new Nickel color (Seen above).

Need a new frame but don’t have a big budget? Sunday‘s new Broadcaster frame might just be what you are looking for. This new frame featuring a 75.5-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.5″ bottom bracket height and a 13″ – 13.25″ chainstay length. The frame also features a down tube gusset, the dent resistant Wave down tube, hollow drop outs and removeable brake mounts. This frame doesn’t have the 41-Thermal heat-treating or lifetime warranty that the other Sunday frames have, but that’s what helps keep the price down. You can pick this frame up in 20.75″, 21″ or 21.25″ with a weight on 5.25″ and Midnight blue for the color for $299.99. That’s dirty cheap.

Have you been blowing through spokes or ground your old hub guard down to nothing? Check out the Colony Clone hub guard. This fully CNC machined 7075-T6 alloy guard threads on to replace your non-drive side cone nut on most cassette hubs. It comes in colors of black, polished, gold, Wasabi green, red, purple and green and weighs in at 2.15 oz.

Need a whole new back wheel? Take a look at Cinema Wheel Co.‘s Tungsten cassette wheel. This 36-spoke wheel features a 6061 aluminum hub shell with a 4-pawl chromoly 9-tooth driver and a 14mm heat-treated chromoly axle with a 6mm internal hex. The hub is laced to a Cinema 777 double wall welded rim with 185mm spokes. You can pick one of these up in right or left hand drive with color options of anodized aqua, black, purple, red and yellow, painted white or chrome plated rims with a weight of 2 lbs. 11.7 oz.
I’ve personally been running this wheel for nearly 2 years now and I haven’t had any major problems. I’ve replaced a few spokes from grinding but that’s about it. The rim and hub are still in great shape.
