Want to see some SERIOUS bangers? Check out all the madness that went down at the final stop of the 2014 Recon Tour at The Unit! There are so many crazy tricks that went down! Watch this!

The Recon Tour PRO Final wrapped up a series of six amateur stops and three PRO stops in Greenville, North Carolina at the private park The Unit. The exclusive venue played host to professional BMX riders from all over the world, including Australia, Venezuela and Brazil.

It was Monster Energy’s own Scotty Cranmer that would take the top spot and win $8,000. Following close behind Daniel Dhers, Nick Bruce, Rob Armour and Monster Army’s David Lieb. The competition was stacked with other well-known competitors including previous Recon Tour PRO stop winner Kevin Peraza, Pat Casey, and locals Rob Darden and Dan Foley.

For the first time, Recon Tour played host to two sets of brothers competing against each other. Earlier in the year, Victor Peraza finished first in an AM stop to earn his spot into the PRO Final and compete against his older brother Kevin Peraza. While Matty Cranmer finished second at the AM stop at The Incline Club in Lakewood, NJ and went on to earn his spot into the PRO Final, where he competed against older brother Scotty, who won the overall championship.

The Recon Tour’s unique format allowed for the little brothers to advance into the contest, along with other amateurs including Case Taylor, Parker Heath, Joel Bondu and Trent Newkirk. As the sole contest providing amateurs the opportunity to advance to the PRO level through their results, Recon Tour created a unique final filled with new talent.

Case Taylor won the overall Recon Tour AM Championship. Having finished first at the AM stop at The Incline Club he advanced to the PRO contest and then to the PRO Final, where his impressive 900 would land him the overall AM championship in the PRO Final.

The contest was steep with competition and full of heavy hitters. Scotty Cranmer won with signature moves like a helicopter and creative tricks like a fufunu onto a banner railing and an ice pick on the highest wall of The Unit. Dhers impressed with his standard barrel rolls, 720s and unique transfers. While Nick Bruce rounded out the podium with bangers like a flair drop-in and a flair double whip. All of the athletes showed off unique talent and impressive lines that proved the progression of BMX is steady and bright.
