It’s been a pretty crazy and busy week for a bunch of guys who made their way to Barcelona for the X-Games. Drew Bezanson was one of the lucky ones to get invited over for the contest for obvious reasons. Red Bull was kind enough to hook us up with an exclusive Q&A with Drew about what he thinks about the contest, how he’s preparing and what his plans are for after the contest. Take a peek at what he had to say!
What are you most excited about?
I’m most excited about exploring Barcelona and getting to experience the Spanish culture.
Have you seen the course yet and if so, what are your thoughts, any bits you’re looking forward to riding?
I’ve seen the course and had to the opportunity to ride it. I’d be really excited if it was my local park but it’s tough to show up and try an figure out a 40 second run on it.
What other riders are you looking forward to seeing?
I look forward to seeing all the riders and how they adapt to the course. Most excited to see the more flowing riders like Chase Hawk and Sergio Layos and the lines they figure out.
What’s your set up for the contest?
My set up for the contest is the same I’ve been riding for years. Just a stock bike with gyro and two pegs.
Is this your first time in Barcelona?
This is my first time to Barcelona and it was a highly anticipated trip.
What are you most excited about?
I’m most excited about checking out the Motocross events, especially Moto X best whip.
Have you got any plans whilst you’re here?
After X-games I’m staying an extra week with one of my sponsors, The Shadow Conspiracy to start filming for a full length DVD. Excited to explore the city and enjoy the culture.
