Over the years we’ve seen a number of riders tackle full pipes, but over the past year or so George Ntavoutian has proven himself as the full pipe king. Now he’s on a mission to tackle some of the craziest around the world with the help of Red Bull. This first episode he travels to the country of Georgia to find a hidden gem in what appears to be a small town. “This series is about searching for full pipe structures around the world. Bridges, sculptures, hidden architectural loops and turning them into rideable spots.
For the first stop of the series, me and my team traveled to Borjomi, Georgia.
At the heart of Borjomi Central Park stands a crazy circular bridge known as the Mobius Bridge (Loop Bridge).
The entrance was rough. The base of the circle looked like it was sucked into the ground, making the roll-in feel like landing on a wall. More speed resulted to more compression. And without flow, a full pipe is impossible.
Day one was a mission with a couple of attempts and a heavy crash.
With the help and support of Crowne Plaza Borjomi and their team, we managed to make the spot work in Day 2.
