The Brazilian BMX scene has lost a legend. Rest In Peace, José Wilton Oliveira AKA Drac!
BMX has lost another amazing person far too early. We just got word that José Wilton Oliveira was murdered during a robbery at his bike shop, Drac BMX, yesterday in São Paulo. Drac was a HUGE part of why the BMX scene in Brazil has become what it has, with the Drac BMX shop opening in 1997 and his ambition to help grow the scene through events, spots to ride and more. It’s people like Drac that have helped push and grow the BMX scene, showing everyone why BMX is amazing. Rest In Peace, Drac… You have left your mark on the history of BMX and will never be forgotten.
