Alone BMX dropped a little sneak peek look at their new Roxbury frame that will be dropping in June that has some interesting colorway options. This full Sanko 4130 chromoly frame has a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.65″ bottom bracket height, 9″ standover height and a 13.2″ – 13.5″ (20.75″) or 13.4″ – 13.75″ (21″) chain stay length. The frame will feature a plate top tube gusset and a box down tube gusset, dent resistant straight gauge 1.2mm thick down tube and chain stays, an externally butted seat tube, tapered top tube, seat stays and chain stays, wide stays for plenty of tire clearance for 2.40″ tires and small 5mm thick heat-treated drop outs.
The Roxbury frame will be available in 3 versions that have different styles; Zebra with removable brake mounts, leopard with welded lugs and snakeskin (photo above) that is completely brakeless. The frames will be available in 20.75″ and 21″ top tube lengths and weigh in at 5 lbs.
Expect more photos of the other colorway options closer to the release next month, June 2015.
