Fly Bikes have been starting to drop previews of their 2016 product line online for us to get excited about. Today, they released a look at their all new Tractor XL sprocket that is designed to remove the need for spacers between the sprocket and bottom bracket. Full details below!
“Here’s a sneak peek look at a brand new product that we will be offering in our 2016 line that will be available later this year. The Tractor XL sprocket is made from 6061 alloy with a unique design that has a 16mm thickness in the middle, which eliminates the need for a spacer between the sprocket and bottom bracket, that tapers to 6mm thick at the teeth. The weight of the sprocket is comparable to traditional sprockets of the same gearing, but 10 times the strength. The Tractor XL sprocket will be available with a 24mm bore for the spindle, with 19mm and 22mm spindle adaptors included, sizes of 25 tooth (4 oz. / 116 grams) and 28 tooth (4.7 oz. / 134 grams) with colors of black, white and one other special colorway that we will be announcing later! ”
We’re assuming this BMX sprocket will be available around September or October. We’re curious as to what else they have been cooking up over in Spain!
