It’s not every day that we see some sort of unique innovation or idea when it comes to flat tires. When it comes to a flat tire, you either patch or replace the tube and on your way you go. However, a lot of the time the question is “where is the air going to come from?”. Unless you’re near a gas station or carry a pump with you, you’re pretty much stuck even if you can patch it on the spot. The guys at Source BMX cooked up their new Oxygen Thief Puncture Repair Kit that is a patch kit, but it also includes a hose with two schrader style valves on each end so you can connect your tube to another tire that has air in it to get at least some air in your tire. Obviously when you take a full tire and transfer the air to the other, once each tube is at equal air pressure it will stop filling, so you’ll probably need to get to a pump or air compressor to get the rest unless you’re pulling off a buddy that runs 90 psi and you like your tires at 35 psi, haha. But, what’s cool is you can connect to anything with a schrader valve stem, so you could even hook up to a car tire if you really had to.
The Oxygen Thief Puncture Repair Kit is available for $6.99 through Source BMX. That seems like a real reasonable price considering you get a bunch of patches and tire levers with the hose.

That’s why we developed The Oxygen Thief Puncture Repair Kit. Simply hook one end up to your flat tyre, and the other to your other tyre, car tyre or any other inflated tyre, and the air from the inflated tyre will pump your flat tyre back up and you’re ready to ride again!
Comes complete with tyre levers and puncture patches to get you back up and on the road in no time.” – Source BMX
