If you live anywhere where snow falls, you know how brutal getting a session outside during the winter is. The Stress Bike Shop team didn’t let the freezing temps, ice and snow keep them from getting out into the streets to stack clips for this new video. Hit play for 3 minutes of pure gold. So many of these clips are hard during the warm summer months, we can’t imagine what it was like trying to deal with the ice and snow, too! Videos like this remind us that we cannot WAIT for summer.

“Years back riding in winter was a common thing for Russia. Scarcity of skateparks pushed riders to be more inventive and patient. Learning new tricks in snow instead of foam pit, grinding rails with the snowdrifts as protection or just going under any kind of canopy during cold time just to keep the shape somehow — all these seemed to be usual things to do in winter time. There were very few options and they were not available for everyone. This was the local reality.

For instance, guys from “THE BOMZH CREW” ( “THE BUM CREW” in English) were among the first who filmed whole winter parts in which they fought with icy handrails and tried backflips into the snowdrift. They always managed to reflect the absurdity of such actions. But at the same time they were driven by a deep love of BMX. “Winter STRESS Test” is a homage to the local heritage and a try of the new rendition of winter riding.” – Stress
