Stuart Gibson coming through with a dialed new video from Rotterdam!
It has been a minute since we’ve seen a fresh one from Stuart Gibson, but it’s clear he’s been out riding and putting in the work as always. Here’s a real dialed new one from his time exploring the streets of Rotterdam. This one isn’t the craziest when it comes to riding, but mixed with the spots and the film work all together, it makes for a hell of a good video. Take a peek!
“This project was a special one for me personally. When I approached Jimmy Schaffrath with the idea, he immediately said yes. Can’t thank him enough for his hard work! He killed it on all fronts. The initial concept has changed dramatically, but the essence is still the same. Great shots of the city, supported with some basic riding to deliver the story I wanted to tell. Bad weather and our schedules made it hard to get the content we were looking for but I think we managed to get a great result!
The video tells the story of a two-wheeled journey of exploration through my hometown of Rotterdam. The message is one that is close to my heart and I think it speaks for itself:
In today’s society, it is important to take a step back and slow down. Being on my bike does that for me. I can’t believe I fell in love with something so simple as riding.
I’ve been privileged to travel the world on my bike. But cruising the streets of my hometown Rotterdam, will always be special to me. I’ve called it home for so long, yet there is so much left to explore.
Being on two wheels allows me to open my eyes. Step on a bike, and the city becomes your playground.
Remember to cherish the small things in life.
