“There are people who drive BMX and there are people who live BMX ! Leon is one of the latter and it is time to see each an experience to drive it . It seems almost as if he was not practicing his tricks , he makes it easy and mostly they also succeed . Admittedly it is sometimes scary to watch him but especially in the last few years he has become quite slowly to a seasoned knitting machine . We met with the Mellow Park Local and trick fireworks turned off which is impressive . Here comes : Leon Binckebanck , Mellow Park Local , Gefahrensucher and parts destroyer on the way to the top ! Hans Friedrich sent through Part 2 of the DRK Trails Road Trip that he took along with the Mellowpark crew! This time they head to the Floha trails for a big session! This place looks amazing!

“I’ve been good friends with Hans now for more then 10 years and over that time we have spent countless hours together. Travelling to events, sharing an apartment for about 8 years and established our company 20Zoll Media last year. He’s someone behind the scenes and supports BMX out of his passion to this sport. Publisher of the Zwanzig Zoll Mag, organizer of various events and one of the founders of the Mellowpark make him to a legend for the german BMX scene. The dirt style machine won the first Rebel Jam creative award on his home spot in the old Mellowpark which is a confirmation of his riding style as well. The Zwanzig Zoll guys have been pumping out awesome videos from Germany for a while… Turns out they get into a whole lot more than just BMX under their 20 Zoll name. Check out this show reel they put together filled with lifestyle and scenic shots. This doesn’t really have much for BMX, but still a good watch!
Here’s a fresh one the Zwanzig-Zoll guys sent through from the trails jam that went down at Mellowpark recently with all of the guys who are in charge of keeping that place as dialed as it is! It looks like the trails were running amazing, the sun was out and some real good riding was going down. Take a peek!
“There is a small bunch of guys, who take care of the trails at the Mellowpark in Berlin for more than 10 years now. Those dudes probably dig more than they ride and call themselves DRK CREW. Thanks to them the park offers ridable lines each and every year since the very beginning. I am proud to consider myself part of the crew and looking forward to more years on these hills – on my bike or with a shovel in my hand…
