This past weekend, the Outlaws of Dirt contest went down at 5050 Skatepark! Check out this highlight reel from all the riding that went down! Looks like they had a real good turn out and a good time to me!
“On Saturday July 12th, the Outlaws Of Dirt held a BMX/MTB event at NYC’s only indoor park. Not everyday BMX/MTB mesh together at events but they all came and the vibes from everyone was great. It took the group 4 days to create the course and man did they not disappoint. Trail style with a little creativity. Met and rode with a lot of new people with great hospitality. Outlaws of Dirt Coming to 5050 Skatepark
Here’s a pretty surprising announcement that I’m sure some of you East Coast guys will be psyched on. There will be an Outlaws of Dirt contest at 5050 Skatepark or July 12th! Get the full details below!
“Denver, Co.- Denver based Plus Size BMX, LLC., promoters of the KHS/Free Agent Bicycles Outlaws of Dirt series fed by Revʼd, announces that stop four will be held July 12th at 5050 Skatepark in Staten Island, NY. The series will include both pro and amateur classes in BMX and MTB. Also included in Stop 4 will be junior, womenʼs and Old Guys Who Ride (35 yrs +) classes. 5050 Skatepark will mark the first time that the Outlaws will head east, with all previous stops contested in the west. Title sponsors, KHS & Free Agent Bicycles as well as REVʼd Nutrition bars will again support the event with the help Evolve Action Sports Park, Alex A-Class Rims, Feedback Sports, VP Components and Red Bull.

The dirt course at 5050 Skatepark will be designed by 5050 owner Ed Pollio with the help of local pro Adam Hauck. Adam has been integral in designs at events like Vailʼs Teva Games. There will also be a park jam held inside the park on Sunday July 13th sponsored by PSBMX.com.
