Insight: Animal PYN Hub Guard
A few weeks back, Animal had released their new PYN hub guard to the public. Over the last few years, a number of hub guards have become available from pretty much every brand with versions being as simple as slipping it on your axle, to ones that fit your drive side, all the way to ones that work completely off compression and remove your hardware completely. Animal took a slightly different route with their guard and took what they knew and liked and created something that definitely gets the job done properly. I recently picked one of these PYN guards up to give a go and decided it would be a good idea to give you guys a closer look at what makes this one stand out. I also stepped it up a bit more and got a Q&A going with Animal’s pro team rider, Mike Brennan and product designers Frank Lam and Jay about the process it took to create the guard. I don’t think you could get any more detail going on this one, so check it!

More BMX Videos
Damn this is good!
“Sar Levi is a Tel Aviv local who gets Animal flow out in Israel. He helped show around AK and Simone during the filming of their Nike edit, and he definitely had a ton of good spots saved up. Here’s a quick video from some clips Richard Forne caught with Sar while he was out there.” – DIG
Animal – Steven Hamilton Edit
Oh hell yeah! I had been seeing a bunch of photos of Steven Hamilton popping up lately and I was starting to wonder (hoping for) if he had a new edit in the works. Then today Animal dropped this new video of Steven absolutely killing it. So stoked on this. Check it!

Get Sylvester – Episode 3: Animal
This episode of Get Sylvester follows Nigel into the Animal warehouse where he talks about what the brand means to him and even gets some riding time in with owner Ralph Sinsi. So stoked on the Ralph clips.
“In the third episode of his new series, “Get Sylvester,” Nigel Sylvester reflects on one of his first sponsors, Animal Bikes, and what the brand and owner Ralph Sinisi have meant to him throughout his career. He hits the headquarters to hang with the crew, ride with Ralph, and surprises him with his new tattoo. Directed and filmed by Harrison Boyce.” – Network A
