Work In Progress – Ollie Shields: Jammin’ at Frontside

August 12, 2015

Here’s the latest Work In Progress video featuring Ollie Shields, along with Bas Keep, Jordan Aleppo and more getting down at the Frontside skatepark jam that went down recently! It looks like they had a good time and plenty of pizza! Check it!

“In the latest episode of ‘Work In Progress’, we continue to shadow the life of Cult, Seventies and Vans’ Ollie Shields, and things get a little more laid back as we visit the infamous ‘Frontside Gardens’ skatepark in Hackney Wick, originally made famous by it’s Google commercial with founder Andy Willis. Today is the Cult jam, a laid back, free-for-all style jam, put on by fellow Cult and Vans rider Bas Keep, ironically one of the main guys who has always stood behind Ollie and vouched for his riding. Sit back and kick it with Bas, Ollie, Jordan Aleppo, Lima and more… This series proudly supported by Seventies Distribution, Cult Bikes and Vans.” – Epic TV

Cult Jam in London

June 6, 2015

Check out some highlights from the Cult BMX jam that went down at Frontside Gardens skatepark last weekend! Looks like they had a good time and some familiar faces like Bas Keep, Ollie Shields and Jordan Aleppo were in the house to throw down. Check the video to see it all!

“Last Saturday (30.05.15) the Cult jam went down at Frontside Gardens in the classic style. No bad vibes, no cops, no rain, just a bowlful of good times.

Somewhere in London’s concrete jungle lies Frontside Gardens. It has a crazy ramp setup, you’re not going to find the like of anywhere else, the ghetto street set up and burly wooden ramps laid the playing field for the pros and locals alike. With a great atmosphere all day, people throwing down and getting wild. What more could you ask for… Oh yeah there was free pizza too.” – Ride UK

Ride UK – “Everything Just Changed” – The Final Cover

April 22, 2015

198_Cover-1020x1335

Ride UK have just released the final cover of their print edition and it features an INSANE photo of Sebastian Keep. It’s such a bummer that another print magazine is on its way out, but this is a banger of a photo to go out with! This issue should be available soon!

“Over the last 23 years the cover of this magazine has been the home of the most pinnacle moments in BMX history. Our very last print cover has a duty to be something special, something ground breaking, something extraordinary. For our final cover Sebastian Keep delivers all of the above and redefines the boundaries of BMX in the process.

This is a 22ft gap to wall ride, from a kicker ramp on the elevated road above, into a 32ft high wall ride down the side of a multi-storey car park and into a 12ft quarter pipe. To put it bluntly, this is death defying. It is a giant leap into new realms of preparation, commitment, skill, height, speed and danger. It is monumental moment of BMX history and it is British moment at that – a fitting end to our print history.” – George Marshall

Red Bull Quarter Master 2014 – Behind The Scenes

November 15, 2014

We’ve seen quite a bit of footage from Red Bull Quarter Master already, but this behind the scenes look has been one of the best because this really shows you what went on for the entire event from practice to finals. So crazy.

“Sebastian Keep’s Quarter Master event went down at Revolution Bike Park, Wales, earlier in the year. With riders going higher, falling harder and pushing their limits on the giant dirt quarter pipe. This was the first year that other riders had been invited to ride Keep’s creation, so it was all hands on deck to get the jumps ready on time.

“The build was proper graft and everyone worked flat out to craft the beast,” he said, “At some points the build was as dangerous as the riding!”

Watch the video above for a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the work that went in to producing this amazing event.”

Vans Oregon Trip

September 18, 2014

DIG just dropped this new video from Vans featuring Gary Young, Ben Hennon, Kevin Kalkoff, Bas Keep, Greg Illingworth and Matt Priest who all piled into an RV and cruised around Oregon to camp and ride a handful of their amazing cement parks! Hit play and take this all in!

After you check out the video, check out this Photogallery and story from the trip by George Marshall!

“What’s the essence of a good BMX trip? For sure it can be many things – but also it can be the very simple things.

Oregon has some of the most insane concrete parks and bowls and in the same time, it’s one of the most beautiful states in the US with stunning nature.

We wanted to combine both facts and aimed for a camping trip – good friends, raw nature, camp fires, river bed showers, the whole shebang. It didn’t take much time for the crew to feel the vibe…..

This is our story – and if this gets you pumped, get a tent and start exploring. Enjoy the ride!” – Vans

Red Bull – Raditudes: Crashing Drones and Winning Contests

August 20, 2014

These Raditudes episodes from Red Bull have been awesome. This time around we get a little look into Hucker’s newest hobby that he likes to push to the limits and then hop over to the U.K for the Goodwood Festival with Anthony Napolitan! Enjoy!

“Hucker and Anthony hit up some Southern California trails and enjoy the spoils of SoCal weather. Then, Hucker puts his exceptional quadcopter (drone) piloting skills to action, and nearly beheads videographer Ryan Navazio.

Later on, Anthony heads to England for the Goodwood Festival of Speed as he rides with Sebastian Keep, Chris Doyle, Kye Forte, and Matt Priest as he takes home the win for best trick and delivers the coveted Red Bull Helmet to MTB rider Mike Jones.”
