BSD dropped some information on Kriss Kyle’s new signature Passenger bars. These are made from heat-treated multi-butted 4130 chromoly with an 8.75″ rise, 29″ width, 11-degrees of backsweep and 2-degrees of upsweep. The Passenger bars come in colors of ED black, raw, chrome and flat red with a weight of 1.6 lbs.
Sneak Peek: Flybikes – Mustard Yellow Isla Frame and Isla 2 Bars
We’ve been getting previews of the new 2015 line from Fly Bikes the past few days and things just keep getting better! Here’s a preview of the new Mustard yellow colorway that will be available on Shane Weston’s signature Isla frame along with the new 9.25″ rise Isla 2 bars! Full specs and details below!
“We have made a few changes to Shane Weston’s signature Isla line for 2015! Here’s a preview of one of his two new signature colorways that will be available later this year, Mustard Yellow, along with his new taller bars.
The Isla frame is made from full seamless 4130 chromoly with a 75-degree head tube angle, 70-degree seat tube angle, 8.5” stand over height, 11.75” bottom bracket height and a 13.40” chain stay length. The frame features an offset thickness head tube with integrated internal gussets on the top and down tubes for increased strength, multi-butted and tapered top and down tubes, a multi-butted down tube, Investment cast bridges on the seat and chain stays, a 4130 chromoly Investment cast seat post clamp with the Horizontal Cut System for improved clamping, the Easy Brake System removable brake mounts and Investment cast drop outs with removable chain tensioner. The 2015 Isla frame will be available with a 20.8” top tube and a weight of 4.85 lb. (2,200 grams).
The Isla 2 bars for 2015 will now come with a new taller 9.25” inch rise with a 29” width, 12-degrees of backsweep and 2-degrees of upsweep. This gives us a broad range of bar heights from 8.5” – 9.25” in our complete line of bars.
The new Mustard Yellow Isla frame and Isla 2 bars will be available later this year through all shops and mail-orders that carry Flybikes worldwide!

These straight-gauge 4130 chromoly bars are made right here in the U.S.A by Solid bikes and feature two rise options; 8.5″ and 8.7″, with a width of 29″, 12-degrees of backsweep and 1-degree of upsweep and a weight of 2lbs (8.5″).
