Tom Dugan’s signature Clubman Bars from Fit are available now. The bars have a rise of 8.25″, 28″ width, back sweep of 12-degrees and an upsweep of 1-degree. The bars weigh in at an even 2 lbs. and come in red or matte black! Stoked these bars are 8.25″ versus 9.25″ for sure.
Sneak Peek: Proper IX Bars
Here’s a look at Proper‘s new Shaun Jinks signature IX bars. As you can probably see, the feature an 8.3″ rise (nice), 9-degrees of backsweep, 2-degrees of upsweep and a width of 28″. Not sure on the exact release date, some time early this year is all they said, but you can definitely find out more about the bars over on The Merged.
Sneak Peek: Cult 9″ Bars
It would appear there’s another option for those big boy 9″ rise bars. Cult dropped this sneak peek of their new 9″ rise bars that will be coming along when the ice starts to melt. Other than the rise, they’ve only released that they will be available in black, red, blue and black chrome. Expect more details closer to release.
Product: Tempered Surefire Frame & Bars
Two in a row from Tempered today. Awesome. It looks like Jerry Vandervalk’s signature Surefire line is finally available in Australia and will be available world wide here shortly.
The Surefire frame features a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.5″ bottom bracket height (Mid bottom bracket), 8.5″ stand over height and a 13.4″ (slammed) – 13.6″ chainstay length. You can find removable seat stay brake mounts, CNC machined and heat-treated dropouts with a stamped logo, externally machined double-butted seat tube, internally machined double-butted top and down tubes and a built in Tempered seat post clamp. You will be able to pick the Surefire frame up in 20.75″, 21″ and 21.5″ top tube lengths with matte black and matte khaki for colors.
The Surefire handlebars are made from fully heat-treated 13-butted chromoly tubing with a 8.5″ rise, 27.5″ width, 12 degrees of backsweep and 2 degrees of upsweep. These too are available in matte black and matte khaki.

Here’s a look at Tempered‘s newest bars. The Datura’s are Benn Pigots signature bars that feature a custom extra large 13-butted tubing, 9 inches of of rise, 29″ width, 12.5-degrees of back sweep and 1.5-degrees of upsweep. The XL cross bar have unique bends and a base for maximum box space. These are available in Burgundy, black, raw and chrome. Justin Inman wanted to up the size of his signature Fit bars for the new year. These American made, 4130 chromoly OT bar features a rise of 8.375″, 29″ width, 11-degrees of backsweep and 1.5-degrees of upsweep and weigh in at 1.9 lbs. These will be available in chrome, white and black around next month.

Yesterday we got a look at Shawn McIntosh’s new Fit Mac signature frame. Today, we have a look at his Mac bars. These straight gauge 4130 chromoly tubing bars have .065″ thick walls that are heat-treated with their 4Q baked system. The Mac bars come with a 8.75″ rise, 28.5″ width, 11-degrees of backsweep and 4-degrees of upsweep.
