Here’s some surprising news we didn’t see coming! Connor Lodes has decided to part ways with Premium for a new opportunity. No word on just where Connor is headed, but I’d imagine it had to be a good offer to step away from a signature frame and more that was in the works with Premium!
Over the past two years or so, we have been becoming increasingly familiar with a new brand from Arizona called Freed Bikes. For those of you that don’t know, Freed is a brand that focuses on U.S made products like frames, bars and sprockets, which in an industry like BMX has been increasingly difficult to make happen. One of the questions we hear pretty frequently is “who owns Freed?”, so we figured it was due time to get to know the guy who is in charge of the reigns of this brand who, thanks to a little help from his family, currently runs the company while going to college full-time… Let’s find out a little bit more about just what Andy is all about!

The 9th episode of Red Bull Raditudes takes us to the Quarter Master contest where everyone sent themselves flying and we get a more in-depth behind the scenes look at what the guys got into throughout the entire event! Check out Hucker, Morgan Wade and the entire crew sending it! This is wild.

A few weeks back, the Subrosa crew took a trip to The Level park to throw a Park Party with the Brighton BMX Co. crew and a bunch of the locals! Take a look at the riding that went down along with some bonus antics including a baked beans chug!

“Max Chuprina is an enigma. He lives in the middle of Siberia (Krasnoyarsk – look it up) and it seems there isn’t too much to ride there besides one big indoor skatepark. Max hasn’t let that stand in his way. This August he traveled to Moscow and the UK stacking footage. These are the clips he filmed at various plazas along the way. The UK street clips from our #inbetweendays tour are still to come.

As promised, we said we would get you full specs and details on the limited edition Angel of Death frames that FBM are cooking up as soon as we found out the info! These limited edition frames will be made from 4130 chromoly with a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 9″ stand over height, 11.75″ bottom bracket eight and a 13.375″ (slammed) chain stay length. The frame will feature a 3D laser cut gusset on the down tube, double butted top and down tubes, a single butted seat tube, Mid bottom bracket, the classic pierced top tube with the wishbone on the seat stay, a wishbone on the chain stay and heat-teed drop outs. The frame will be available in top tube lengths of 20.5″, 20.75″, 21″ and 21.25″ with colors of black, clear and red. You have the option of no brake mounts, welded on seat stay brake mounts or removable seat stay brake mounts (note: removable mounts are not included but can be purchased for $9.99 separately).
There are only 100 of these frames being produced and they can be pre-ordered for $369.99 today by having your local shop or favorite mail-order get an order in for you or you can pre-order one for yourself directly from the FBM webstore right now!
