A little bit before Eric Bahlman got picked up by Volume Bikes, Bobby Kanode caught up with the freecoasting and inverting wizard known as Eric Bahlman to get a little how-to on fakie hop inverts. Eric gives you a few keys to the success he has been able to find along with a few wild examples on how you can include inverts into your every day life. All I know is this is awesome so check it out!
One of the best parts about being a sponsored BMX rider is that from time to time the opportunity to go on a trip for no reason other than to go on a trip will come about. That just so happened for Codie Larsen, Brandon Begin and Greg Henry who were sent to Los Angeles to meet up with Dylan Stark and Andrew Jackson for a few days of sun and spots. Take a peek at what went down.
“It can get cold in certain parts of America, so every now and again its completely necessary to fly a few of the riders to L.A and let them soke it all up. In this short trip we see AM guys Codie, Brandon and Greg to meet up with PROS Dylan and Andrew.”
I always get so stoked when I see Jake Ortiz’s name pop up. He never fails at coming through with a wild edit. This new one for 2Hip is jam packed with some heat. You should probably just hit that play button already.
Over the past few months, James Reynolds has been trying to film for this new Simple Bikes edit. Things weren’t as simple as that since problem after problem happened, but you would never know because it didn’t stop him from coming through with this video that’s definitely one you won’t want to miss. This has a little bit of everything from street to parks to trails footage. Enjoy!

Dart BMX‘s Pawel “Haro” Piotrowski is back at it again. This time around he has compiled a bunch of his leftover clips from previous edits this year and mixed in a few fresh clips for good measure. This dude always comes through with some real good riding so take a look.
I know I’ve said this more than once… Zack Trnka is one of the most under-rated riders in Canada. This new edit featuring him and Spencer McFarlane slaying a ton of spots is so damn good. If you’re looking for a street edit to get stoked on today, this is for you for sure.

Brian Kachinsky, Jeremiah Smith, Chad Kagy, Nate Wessel, Mike Escamilla, Morgan Wade, Darryl Nau, Scott Powell and Mykel Larrin are back in the Middle East to hang out with the troops and get them stoked while they are stuck in a bad situation. This is a look at what they have been getting into so far on this trip!
“When the military brings tours to its bases, much effort is put into organizing entertainment for the entertainment. In past Bikes Over Baghdad tours, the BMX riders have had the opportunity to take target practice, fly in Apache helicopters and travel by way of C-130s. Today, we were attacked by dogs.
The riders started off the day meeting with wounded soldiers who are stationed around the Middle East but have come to this base as part of the Air Force’s intratheater care program for treatment and healing time. The mutual admiration between the troops and the athletes on this tour has been evident from the moment we set foot on the base. Each group has such respect for the dedication, risk and camaraderie demonstrated by the other, and their conversations constantly reflect those feelings. This morning, a fast bond was formed as the soldiers and riders swapped injury stories and shared frustrations with rehab, setbacks and the feeling of missing out.
“We know what it’s like to be separated from your friends and your team when you’re injured,” Brian Kachinsky said after an hour meet-and-greet and poster signing. “You want to be out there with them. And we’ve all had a lot of injuries, so in that way, we can relate. But there are a lot of things we can’t relate to, like the sacrifices they make to be here.”
After lunch with a group of soldiers who’d won the opportunity to dine with the riders, we took off for the flight line for a tour of a B1 bomber and more photo ops.
Then the tour went to the dogs.
At the kennel and training compound, we were introduced to several MWDs [military working dogs] and watched a demonstration showcasing their extensive obedience and attack training. Then a few of us threw on a bright red, very padded protective jacket and learned what it feels like — sort of — to be taken down by an active duty military dog.
And that was all before dinner.” – ESPN BMX
