ESPN BMX caught up with Simon Tabron to talk some history of spinning with him. Take a peek!
“U.K. to U.S. BMX Vert transplant Simon Tabron may not have been the first rider to claim the 900 (Mat Hoffman pulled it first in 1989), but there is no doubt that Tabron is the owner of the most consistent 900 spin in all of BMX, as well as the one and only back-to-back 900 in all of vert.
In the above video, Tabron recounts his early days learning 540s (where he mistakenly over-rotated a 360 to fakie), his dalliances with early 900s (where he over-rotated a 540) and the obsession that stirred inside of him after successfully getting the rotation down. But the 900 air isn’t something vert riders can toy around with though. As Simon recounts above, he had to choose his battles of when and where to throw the trick. Sometimes it worked out (at the Worlds in 1991) and sometimes he went eight years without landing them. Video by Justin Kosman” – ESPN BMX
The BMX Box’s Raymond Inskipp, Karl Southern, Sean Kelly, Ben Marvin, Paul Fletcher and Pat loaded up for a trip to the Southsea area to check out a bunch of different parks. While they were there, they stopped at the 4Down and Seventies warehouses to get some time in on their ramps as well. This is the video they came home with. Real good.

Ivan Nikolaev didn’t have time to go out searching for spots, so he headed to the skatepark to film a bunch of damn good riding for Raen Shop and Stress… When he wasn’t dropping roller bladers and yelling at kids at mountain bikes, haha. This dude is ALWAYS producing goodness.
Random fact I had no idea about Ivan is that he has 2 kids that I believe are cruising around in the background of this.

This makes my day…
Here’s a few raw clips of Josh Fountain taking care of business at his local park. The dude likes to go fast and has plenty of real good tricks that definitely make it worth a look.
Matt Nicklen caught up with Aron Leah at the Kings Park for a one last session before Aron heads out on the road to travel for the winter. The session ended up being real productive and Aron came through with a ton of real good clips for you to check out in this edit. Take a peek.
