Product: Profile Racing – Chrome Column Cranks In All Sizes

August 15, 2014

Column-Crank-Kit1_600x

Have you been hoping to get some of the Profile Racing Column cranks in chrome, but they just didn’t offer them in the size you want? Well, they are now available in 160mm, 165mm, 170mm and 180mm versions! These are no-boss only, so 22mm Spline Drive sprockets like Profile’s Glaxy and Sabre sprockets would be a good route to go with as well!

The Column cranks can be picked up from the Profile Racing Webstore for $192.99 (black) or $223.99 (Chrome) now or you can have your local shop hit up Profile Racing directly to get you a set ordered up today!

Eclat – The Maverick Cranks Featuring Anthony Perrin

July 3, 2014

Eclat dropped this new promo video giving you a closer look at their Maverick cranks and Anthony Perrin getting a proper session in at a park! Hit that play button and take a look!

“Behold the MAVERICK cranks. These cranks are all about strength, as anyone who’s ever snapped a pair of cranks will know, its usually at the welding where things let go. This is where alloy comes into its own, being able to forge in a 3D shape means you can avoid the welding, and therefore the weak spot. What’s totally unique about the Mavericks is their use of a regular 48 spline. Until now alloy cranks were only available with a mountain bike style square spindle and a pinch bolt on the arm. We wanted to raise the bar and clean up the looks, and thanks to a heat treated crmo insert into the alloy its all been made possible.

Anthony Perrin takes them for a spin, hitting em hard on crank arms to test the overall strength.

Sneak Peek: Mutiny – 22mm Cinch Cranks

January 22, 2014

Mutiny_cinch_cranks

Here’s a little sneak peek look at the updated Cinch cranks from Mutiny Bikes. They’ve bumped the spindle up to 22mm from the 19mm version and added an investment cast spindle boss. Between these two things, it sounds like these cranks are even stronger than before. Check out the full explanation below and expect these out late Summer!

“Check out a very early sneak peek of the new Cinch 22mm’s. As you can see we’ve added a investment cast spindle boss which helps for an improved junction between the arm and the spindle boss. The arms have been beefed up a little too.
We decided to go with a 22mm axle over a 24mm axle for the simple reason that while the axle may be slightly stronger, that the energy still has to go through somewhere and that point would likely be the crank arm. So the 22mm axle with our newly revised arm seems to make the most sense to us.

These along with a whole grip of new stuff will be out in August.”

Sneak Peek: Demolition – 24mm Rig Cranks

December 29, 2013

Demolition_RIG_BMX_Cranks_600x

Here’s a sneak peek of the new Dennis Enarson signature 24mm Rig cranks from Demolition that I spotted over on The Merged. If you’re looking for a little more beef in the cranks department, I’m sure these will do the trick for you if they will do the trick for Dennis! Not exactly sure on the release date, but I’d imagine these will be out in January / Februaryish when some of their other new product drops.
