Product: Cinema Wheel Co. – VX2 Cassette Hub

Is it time for a new back hub? Have you given the VX2 Cassette from Cinema Wheel Co. a look yet? This hub starts out with a CNC machined 36-hole 6061 aluminum hub shell with a 14mm heat-treated chromoly axle with 8mm internal hex holes, two precision sealed bearings inside and a 9-tooth SDS (Switchable Drive Side) chromoly driver with ceramic bearings and pawls that can be switched from right or left side drive easily. You can find a press on alloy cone on the non-drive size and a 25mm threaded steel cone nut on the drive side to keep it all tight. The VX2 cassette hub comes in colors of hard anodized black, blue and slate with a weight of 16.35 oz and a retail price of around $189.99.

Product: Colony – Clone Freecoaster Hub

There’s no doubt that the freecoaster world has blown up huge these past few years and a number of brands have offered their own take on this popular hub working with the proven KHE internals. Colony introduced their Clone freecoaster a little while back now that features a CNC machined alumninum hub shell that was designed with a slimmer design to help reduce weight and a laser etched logo. As we said before, inside you can find a 14mm hollow chromoly axle and the popular KHE internals that a number of other hubs also use because, simply put, it gets the job done. The driver has an angular contact bearing for additional load support and they have included 3 slack washers to all you to get your hub set just the way you like it. The Clone freecoaster is available in colors of Rainbow and black, 36-hole only, right or left side drive with a 9-tooth driver and a weight of 1.26 lbs. (20.28 oz. / 575 grams).

Product: Fiend – Freecoaster

The guys over at Fiend announced that their freecoaster they have been working on is available now! This hub starts out with a CNC machined alloy shell that features a slimmer design than most freecoasters available to give it more of a cassette look. Inside, you can find the KHE internals that most freecoasters offer these days with a hollow 14mm chromoly axle and alloy hardware to keep it all together. The Fiend Freecoaster is available in black and polished with a weight of 21.3 oz. This hub comes with 3 slack washers for you to adjust to your liking as well! More photos can be found here!

Eclat – The Blind Hub Explained

With the release of the highly anticipated Shane Weston signature Blind hub from Eclat that is 4 different hubs in one thanks to its ability to switch from right and left side drive along with cassette to freecoaster, Eclat decided to put together some informational videos showing how it works. Sneak Peek: Division Brand – Tactical Hubs

It looks like Division Brand are working on their first set of hubs called the Tactical hubs. Not a lot of detail other than it looks to be a unique hub shell design, cassette with a male axle in the rear, female axle up front and colors of black and polished. Check out more photos right here!
