Profile Racing are always cooking up some new colorways for their hubs. Here’s a look at this Orange and Blue splatter color that is OUT NOW! This color is available in VERY LIMITED amounts for the Right and Left side drive Mini hubs and Ride side drive Elite hubs. You can pick these up direct from the Profile Racing Webstore or by having your local shop hit them up directly!

The guys over at The Set just hit us up with a sneak peek look at their new Terrorist hubs that are due out soon! The cassette hub features smooth shell with a chromoly female axle that can hold up to grinding, a new and improved Q-Lite 6 double tooth pawl driver with a 30 tooth ratchet ring on the driver, thicker “Crazy Bounce” springs that gives you better engagement without drag and 4 bearings for a smooth rolling hub . The front hub has a slimmer look than the cassette with smaller grind friendly flanges and a frame chromoly axle that will hold up to grinding. You can also find 4 bearings inside this hub as well! Both of these are definitely pleasing on the eyes! You can get your hands on these in 4-6 weeks when they hit shops and mail-orders that carry The Set! More photos below.
UPDATE: The Terrorist hubs will be in right side drive only at first, but left side drive will be available shortly. The hubs will be available in black along with red and polished for colors.

Damn this week went flying by! Friday already, so it’s time we head over to Bikeguide and take a look at a few threads that are worth checking out! The first one that we’ll take a look at this week is a fresh new thread that is getting some hype building around the Fly Bikes Cassette that may or may not be going into production some time soon.

Here’s a sneak peek look at Cult‘s Match V2 hub that will be available in Rasta we spotted on The Merged! They’ve tapered the shell and made the flange on the non-drive side smaller for this 2nd version of the hub. Available later this year!

Here it is! We got our first look at these 14mm Elite hubs from Profile Racing last month at Frostbike, and now they’re available for everyone! The Elite hub is CNC machined right here in the U.S out of aluminum and features a ratchet ring with a one-piece chromoly 9 or 10 tooth driver with 6 pawls creating 204 points of engagement and sounds like a swarm of bees when you are riding and 5 sealed bearings to keep you rolling smooth. Now they have added the option of running a 14mm male axle for those of you who want to run the hub, but would also like to grind without the fear of wrecking the female axles.
You can pick this hub up in right or left side drive with colors of black, polished, matte black, red, blue, gold, green, purple, white and aqua for right side drive or in black and polished with only a 9-tooth driver option for left side drive (for now) or for existing Elite hub owners, a 14mm conversion kit has been made available that includes the axle, cones and jam nuts.
