What would you do to follow your dreams? Would you wake up one morning and plan a move across the country? Would you leave home in hopes of pursuing a career doing what you love? Well, regardless of what you may or may not do, while you are still sitting there thinking about it there are people out there like Broc Raiford making moves. I’ve been doing this whole thing long enough now to where I have seen riders go from young up-and-comers just trying to make a name for themselves to some of the top pros in the game. Broc is on his way to fitting himself into that category. His bike control is blatantly obvious when he rides and he has the type of personality that will take him far. He recently made the move out West to California in hopes of pushing his BMX riding to a new level and I have absolutely no doubt that being here will do just that. He knows what he wants out of life, has the work ethic that it takes to be successful and did I mention that he kills it on a bike? Get familiar with Broc, find out about the move, and see what he has planned for the rest of the year and more right here.

Issue 94 of DIG BMX Magazine has dropped. This time around they’ve got a hell of an issue lined up for the “Video Issue” that you can find out more about right here. They’ve even recruited Stew Johnson to be an editor for this issue, so you know it’s going to be good!

Head over to the Ride BMX website to check out their Friday interview with Tom Dugan. Tom discusses how his neighbors hate him, how he has been trying to cut back on the nudity to make it more exciting when it happens and how he had to cut back on the Dr. Pepper to prevent his teeth from falling out of his skull. Take a peek!

Ah… BMX Dan. This is one kid I met a few years back and I’ve watched develop from a pretty quiet kid who was pretty good on a bike to a full blown man child that can toss the bars like the best and isn’t scared to send it on anything you put in front of him. There are a lot of stories that come to mind when I think about different times I’ve crossed paths with Dan. Some of the stories are pretty hilarious and probably not ideal to share in an intro. All I’ll say is he has definitely taken his fair amount of shit from some of the finest in the Midwest which has molded him into the kid he is today. After joining the knee club and making a full recovery and getting a ton of travel time in, Dan was bumped up to the Madera flow team last week. We figured it was time to get to introduce this up and comer from the Milwaukee scene to you guys. Let’s take a look at what he had to say.

Head over to the Ride UK website to check out a Q&A with Sean Burns where he lists off 5 of the worst things he’s come across lately. Everything from getting his dick caught in his wheel to stealing midget blow up dolls from drugged out naked chicks. This is definitely one to check out, haha.

This week I wanted to give everyone an inside look at the newest cover of Soul Magazine issue #79. It not only came as a surprise to Dennis and Chad but it also came as a surprise to myself as well. I wanted to break it down and let everyone know exactly what it took to make that happen and how sometimes when you least expect it, you get the cover of a magazine. Most of the time it ends up being the craziest/best action photo from that previous month of shooting but every once and a while people like the creators of Soul go above and beyond what’s expected to design a truly unique and one-of-a-kind cover. Let’s take a look and see what went into making this happen.
