Scott Matual was the oldest guy riding the Gorge, but you would have never known. Blazing the trail on his S&M Holmes 22, every chance he could get! NW represent.

Spotted this over on Can You Dig It. The weather has finally started allowing for some people to get outside for some spring sessions. It looks like the Omni Trails haven’t been covered in snow all winter, but it does look like they are getting some proper spring sessions in already. Check out some trails goodness right here.

Over the years there have been plenty of conversations about how DVD’s are dead and how videos coming out are the same thing as what’s coming out online everyday, just a little longer. Which, yeah, you could make some valid points that it is true. But I think this kind of comes full circle with the “print is dead” thing. It’s not that it’s dying out and won’t exist. It’s a product and for people to want to buy it, it needs to be something that doesn’t suck. You can’t keep repeating things forever and if you haven’t noticed, the model for how magazines are distributed has changed up with the times, and I think the same can be said with full-length videos.
I recently got my hands on a copy of the new Vinyl BMX “LP” DVD that I think is a prime example of what I’m trying to say in this intro. So let’s get into this review already…
Spotted this dialed video over on Can You Dig It and all I know is this is making me wish I could go to New Zealand so damn bad because this country looks absolutely amazing. Hit that play button!
“Some footage from my trip to the south island of new zealand at the start of 2013. I caught up with Mike and Ryan for a few days after farm jam and rode gorge rd with them. I met too many awesome people to mention! Riders are Mike Ross, Nathan Parker and Ryan Lloyd + a few extras. A huge thanks to the guys who dig gorge rd and also to the Frew bros for letting us ride after farm jam. Filming by Nicole Parker and Ryan Lloyd”
The Metal Mulisha dropped their edit from Paul Langlands’ backyard sessions that went down the other weekend. There’s some real dialed riding in this one, so make sure you hit that play button!
“Metal Mulisha’s Paul Langlands rallied up his New Zealand troops for a weekend of dirt shredding in his backyard BMX dirt setup.”
Spotted this gem over on Can You Dig It of Blaine Mazzetti getting some laps in at his spot. This video has all the key things, killer jumps, awesome riding, clean filming and editing and a real good song. Boom. Hit that play button!
“I’ve only known Blaine for a month or two but I can say he is one of the most dedicated people to the BMX scene I’ve met. He would probably be a pro shredder if not for his love of building trails. Blaine is someone that all riders can respect, he is probably best known for his insane dirt jump lines, artfully crafted with the help of a solid crew that has probably put more time into building than anything else in life. It’s been really chill hanging out with Blaine and his friends, meeting new riders, and gathering footy a new video for Blaine has been super exciting! I’ve got to note that Blaine can throw down but he had an injury a while back so he has been getting back into all of his major tricks One thing to mention would be the fact that for the video he threw down a big trick he hadn’t done in over 8 months, and it only two tries for him to nail it! Thanks to Blaine, Shawn and Adam for building such amazing jumps to film!“
Check out this video showing you what went down at the Hidden Valley Trails jam down in Australia I believe. Either way, it looks like they had a huge turn out and a ton of good riding went down under the blazing sun. Check it!

If you aren’t a trails rider, you are not going to appreciate this one. Jon over at Can You Dig It posted up this video of these guys putting in some work shaping a few lips at their trails in France. If you have an appreciation for trails you’re going to be all over this for sure.
