The other day we posted up the Kink 2015 Parts Collection catalog up on the site that gave us a good look at their full range of frames and parts that Kink have released worldwide this month. Inside, we caught a look at a few items that really caught our eye, including the new Yukon cassette hub. We were curious to find out just what made up this cassette hub, so we got in touch with the guys over in New York and got all the specs and details. Product: Colony – Clone Freecoaster Hub

There’s no doubt that the freecoaster world has blown up huge these past few years and a number of brands have offered their own take on this popular hub working with the proven KHE internals. Colony introduced their Clone freecoaster a little while back now that features a CNC machined alumninum hub shell that was designed with a slimmer design to help reduce weight and a laser etched logo. As we said before, inside you can find a 14mm hollow chromoly axle and the popular KHE internals that a number of other hubs also use because, simply put, it gets the job done. The driver has an angular contact bearing for additional load support and they have included 3 slack washers to all you to get your hub set just the way you like it. The Clone freecoaster is available in colors of Rainbow and black, 36-hole only, right or left side drive with a 9-tooth driver and a weight of 1.26 lbs. (20.28 oz. / 575 grams).

(29.9 oz. / 859g) and comes in your choice of hub color with black, matte black, polished, red, blue, gold, matte Army green, purple, green, white or aqua!

The stock Mini cassette wheel, like the front wheel, starts out with a right or left side drive Mini cassette hub with a 14mm GDH chromoly axle and 9-tooth driver that is laced to a black Sun Ringle Big Baller rim with 14 gauge steel spokes and aluminum nipples from Deco along with a Deco rim strip. The wheel weighs in at 2.6 lbs. (41.65oz./1210g) with colors of black, matte black, polished, red, blue, gold, matte Army green, purple, green, white or aqua!
