Holy Half Pipe 2016

Always stoked to see what the Team Iowa crew are getting into! Here’s some highlights from the “Holy Half Pipe Jam” that went down the other weekend at the Skate Church! This has a good mix of riders and styles from the front brake magicians like Bobbie Altiser to the brakeless guys. All in all, it looks like it was a super good jam! Check out the highlights.

Team Iowa – End of the Year

It’s always a good day when the Team Iowa crew drop a new BMX video! Here’s a compilation of footage from the crew getting down at the Gnar Barn, the Standard Bykes warehouse, Ray’s Cleveland and a handful of other skateparks and backyard ramps! Awesome riding that you won’t want to miss! Enjoy!

Burly Jam 2015 – Part 1

On June 13th, BMX riders from all over the place made their way to Burlington, Iowa to ride the Dankward Skatepark for the one and only Burly BMX Jam! Above is a video that gives you a look at the highlights from the entire day from the riding to the karaoke that that went down at the after party. You can see riding from guys like Bobbie Altiser, Dan Hylton, Jared Schlesselman, Habo Gutierrez and Glenn Salyers. This is what a proper BMX Jam looks like! It’s such a bummer knowing that we won’t be seeing Glenn blasting airs like he is doing in the end anymore. We’ve included a link to donate to his memorial fund below! Expect part 2 soon…

It was a cloudy day in Burlington, Ia on June 13 but that didn’t stop the migration of BMXers to Southeast Iowa from places like Texas, Chicago, New York, and all other dark corners of the Earth. The other day, we came across a section from a video that Bobby Parker had put together back in 2007 for the Burly Jam featuring a TON of Midwest parks and street. After the first one got tossed around like a beach ball at a Nickelback concert, he decided to put all of the sections from the video up online for us to enjoy. “During the fall, Aaron Ross, Alex Magallan, Jake Seeley, Scot Draper and Jim Cielencki joined up with Full Factory’s Bobby Parker to visit a bunch of shops and skateparks in New England. From huge games of Footdown to a bunnyhop contest on a 40 lb bike, we had a blast.
