Chad Kerley talks a little bit about what to expect and talks about Brian Kachinsky’s influence for the contest that’s finally going down this weekend! I’ll be heading out on Friday to make my way down so expect some coverage from this right here on The Union. Don’t forget to check out the live feed that Ride BMX will have as well!
Timmy Theus’ Chicago Alley Session
Timmy Theus and Brian Kachinsky goodness for you to start your day.
“I’ve been staying with Timmy Theus for the past few days at his house in Chicago in preparation for Chad Kerley’s vitaminwater® Invitational. Nestled on the south side of Chicago, Timmy’s house comes complete with a garage and an alley that is wide enough to get a fun session in on his new up ledge. Since he wanted to break in the new ledge and I wanted to test out some new camera equipment, we dragged the ledge into the alley and this is the result. When fellow Chicagoan Brian Kachinsky showed up, it made for an awesome session and of course, we had to get a fresh riding clip with the Wisconsin native to show that he’s back in full force. Check out Timmy’s signature steeze on his own personal setup–simple is usually better.” – Ride BMX / Andrew Brady

Head over to the Ride BMX website to check out a fresh interview with Brian Kachinsky where he talks about some of the work he’s been doing lately, his knee recovery, plans for the Vitaminwater Invitational and more. Real good read.
Chicago’s Not Really Lost Footage
Andrew Brady put together this Chicago mix edit featuring the likes of Brian Kachinsky, Kevin Porter, Timmy Theus, Dirty Dan Bogard, Josh Eilken and more for this weeks Ride BMX edit. The footage might be a little older, but it’s still a good one.
Face Time: Brian Kachinsky
Brian Kachinsky had a fairly rough ending to 2011 with a knee surgery to fix him back up to full beast level, but it sounds like he’s got a good year coming up. Check out this fresh edit ESPN put together with Brian where he discusses the past year along with some damn good riding.
One of the best people I know.
Bid For Nina B!

Dialed bike, good cause… Can’t go wrong with this!
“Brian Kachinsky is auctioning off his bike and YOU should bid on it. Back in October fellow etnies & DK teammate Nina B had a gnarly crash and has since then needed help with medical bills. This is BK’s way of contributing and letting you all be a part of it. Check out his TransWorld’s Bike Check for Brian’s DK Passport and bid on it via eBay.
Get well, Nina!” – Etnies
