Brian Kachinsky has a kickass interview up on Defgrip that I’d advise you check out. Anything BK is good stuff.

Today, Nike 6.0 dropped Harry Main and Brian Kachinsky’s teams for The Pool. It looks like Harry Main went with some of the new guys who have been blowing things up lately, and Brian went with experience. This is going to get interesting. Regardless, I want to be at this event. Hey, Nike my calender is open those days.
1. Harry Main (UK)
2. Alex Coleborn (UK)
3. Ben Wallace (UK)
4. Kyle Baldock (AUS)
1. Brian Kachinsky (US)
2. Chris Doyle (US)
3. Kevin Porter (US)
4. Tony Hamlin (US)
Tomorrow they will drop Garrett Reynolds and Sebastian Keep’s choices. I’ve got a few names in mind for Dennis’ team, Ty Morrow and Augie Simoncini are on my list… Did Ty get picked yet?

I knew something more was going on with those Nike 6.0 “The Pool” videos that were popping up. It was between a contest of some sort, or a porno. Turns out, it’s not a porno and they are looking to throw another big contest. This time around, they have asked 10 of the worlds top riders to assemble teams to compete in The Pool. Each rider will be picking 3 members to be on their team. The details of the contest haven’t been released, but the 10 captains have been.
Jason Phelan, Van Homan, Dennis Enarson, Ruben Alcantara, Harry Main, Brian Kachinsky, Garrett Reynolds, Sebastian Keep, Alex Kennedy and Drew Bezanson will all pick three more riders.
The full teams will be released soon with Van and Jason’s teams being released at some point today. This is going to be good.
Edit: Here’s Jason and Van’s picks…
1. Jason Phelan (IRL)
2. Kriss Kyle (UK)
3. Geoff Slattery (US)
4. Ben Hennon (UK)
1. Van Homan (US)
2. Brian Foster (US)
3. Darryl Tocco (US)
4. Christian Porras (COL)
It shouldn’t take this long to get an edit from an event out, buttttttttt since it features Brian Kachinsky, Drew Bezanson, Brett Banasiewicz, Josh Cox and Catfish I’ll let it slide.

Brian Kachinsky spends some time at Woodward West working with some lights. As always, Brian kills it.

Brian Kachinsky’s new project, The Bakery, have a couple desktop backgrounds and iPhone backgrounds for you that Dave Leep shot. You can check these out right here.
A few weeks back I had heard some bits and pieces about a new project Brian Kachinsky was working on. I didn’t know any specifics, I just knew it was happening in Chicago, and it was going to be tasty. I was almost thinking Brian was starting a hardware store that only sold Hammersaw’s, but I guess he went soft and decided to start a Bakery. The Bakery is similar to the Etnies TF park, a private ramp setup that will be bringing in pros, media and industry members for sessions. I can only begin to imagine the amount of content that will be coming from this. Above is just a quick teaser that gives you a look into the walls of something you will become more and more familiar with as time goes on.
For the time being you can follow The Bakery on Twitter @InsideTheBakery or on Facebook or just check InsideTheBakery.com for updates.

Fact: The only BMX poster I have on my wall is one that features and is autographed by Brian Kachinsky. Why? Because he’s one hell of a guy on and off his bike. Brian is one of those guys I find impossible to keep track of. He has literally been all around the world, and the above edit is proof. It’s also a promo for his 2011 DK Passport frame which I heard makes you nollie tooth rails like a champ.
