“Volume/Odyssey BMX pro Broc Raiford visits sponsors to get an ad photo in the Orange County area.“

The guys over at Volume Bikes just released the full specs on Broc Raiford’s signature frame, the Vessel, that will be out in March. If you caught our INSIGHT on the 2014 product like from Volume and Demolition, you would have seen we had most of the frames specs listed with a few details missing. We figured it would be a good idea to follow up with all the specs and details now.
The Vessel will feature full 4130 heat-treated chromoly tubing with a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 9.25″ stand over height, 11.7″ bottom bracket height and a 13.25″ – 13.75″ chain stay length. You can find double butted front triangle tubing, gussets on the top and down tubes, an hour glass head tube, a wider bottom bracket shell which helps to allow for more tire clearance, double-diamond s-bend chain stays allowing for larger gearing, investment cast dropouts with built-in chain tensioners, removable brake mounts and an integrated seat post clamp. The Vessel will be available in 20.5″, 20.75″ and 21″ top tube lengths with flat black, raw and flat red for colors and a weight of 5 lbs. 2 oz. (20.75″)
This frame will be hitting shops and mail-orders in March. You can have your local shop pre-order you a frame now by having them get ahold of 180 Distribution today. Check out more photos right here

Did you catch the finals from Simple Session yesterday? Check out all the highlights in the video above along with a clip of how Dan Paley won best trick!
“Simple Session 2014 is a wrap. From well over 100 riders down to 24, the finals were everything you’d expect from a Simple Session; a great mix of both street and park riding, a great vibe, and a damn good show.

Check out the bike that Broc Raiford will be using to kill the Simple Session course in this new bike check from Odyssey. It’s got a classic (nearly) all black look going on with a touch of the occult on the stem.
