BSD – Interbike 2015 Preview

Where does time go? Summer has flown by and tomorrow we’ll be hopping on a plane to Las Vegas tomorrow for our 8th round of Interbike to check out all the latest BMX bikes, frames and parts from all of your favorite BMX brands. Thanks to the internet, we’ve been getting previews from a number of brands giving us a taste of what’s to come so we have a decent idea of some of the items we’ll be seeing from a number of the brands. Today we were treated to a gold mine of product that BSD will be displaying between the QBMX booth and Tip Plus suite from their new Westcoaster freecoaster, to the updated frames, new Dan Paley Soulja frame, fresh colorways, their first rim and a new addition that we have a feeling everyone will be running if you have plastic bar ends. BSD – Chaz & Connor Mailey: Austin To Aspen

Other than Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne, we can’t think of too many people who have taken a road trip to Aspen. BSD‘s Chaz and Connor Mailey recently spent some time over here in the U.S and took a trip from Austin, Texas to Aspen, Colorado riding spots, head butting the bottom of pools of water and having a damn good time. Check out this dialed BMX video they put together from the trip!

Product: BSD – Zing Bars

BSD have released Liam Zingbergs‘ new signature two piece bars! The Zing bars are made from multi-butted, post-weld heat-treated 4130 chromoly tubing with a 29″ width, 9.25″ rise, 11-degrees of back sweep and 2-degrees of upsweep. Product: BSD – Stacked Stem

BSD have released a new topload stem for you guys to get your hands on! The new Stacked stem is made from a full CNC machined 6061-T6 with a 50mm reach, 33mm rise, 33mm stack height solid chromoly bolts and a CNC machined BSD logo on the top plate. This stem also features a recessed top, and an integrated spacer on the bottom to eliminate the need for spacers, or as many, giving it a cleaner look.

The Stacked stem is available in colors of black, polished silver, red and blue through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry BSD worldwide now!

Product: BSD – David Grant Signature Raider Frame

Is it time for a new frame? Are you a taller guy looking for a little room to work with? Maybe David Grant’s signature Raider frame from BSD is what you need? This frame is made from full 4130 chromoly tubing with a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.75″ bottom bracket height, 9.3″ stand over height and a 13.5″ – 14″ chain stay length. The frame features an internally relieved head tube, gussets on the top and down tubes for increased strength, a MID bottom bracket, Integrated seat post clamp, an extra wide rear triangle for 2.40″ tire clearance, tapered seat and chain stays and curved ends on the stays to give a little extra room for peg clearance. This Raider frame is brakeless, so there are no mounts.

The Raider frame is available in top tube lengths of 20.7″, 21″ and 21.6″ with colors of Space Ghost purple, clear coat raw and translucent black and a weight of 5lbs.

Daniel Buettgen Bike Check

Make your way on over to the BSD website to check out a new Bike Check with their German connect, Daniel Buettgen, and his current RVIDXR setup that he’s running. There are a few scuffs and scratches, but overall it looks like one dialed BMX bike that’s built to take a beating on the streets.
