Kyle Carlson sits down with Chad Kerley to give him the 2012 Rider of the Year award from Vital, then they talk about what made 2012 so special for Chad and what’s to come in 2013. Definitely a big year with 3 video parts coming from the dude within the next year or so. Can’t wait.

Ever wondered what a regular day is like for Chad Kerley when he’s not stacking clips for a video or hitting the road for a contest or something? Check out this day in the life that Crooked World dropped today giving you a look at how Chad is living these days.
“Step into Chad Kerley’s BMW and take a ride to the Premium BMX headquarters for a little shopping spree and brand new CK frame build up! Next up follow Chad for some insanely tech shredding at Rancho Penasquitos and Poway parks in San Diego! Filmed by Steve Croteau. Beats by Christian Backe.” – Network A

Get on over to The Merged to get the low down on Chad Kerley’s signature frame from Premium that’s due out in two weeks. The frame looks so good.

I knew Chad Kerley had some new sponsors lined up for 2013, but I didn’t have the slightest clue of who he would be riding for… Turns out one of those sponsors would be Cinema Wheel Co.!
“Cinema Wheel Co. is proud to welcome Chad Kerley to the team! We are really excited to have one of San Diego’s finest join the team and start going on trips with us. Chad has been pushing the levels of technical street riding over the past few years and has made a solid name for himself. More importantly, he has a good head on his shoulders and is respected by his peers. Keep an eye out for Chad’s official Welcome edit coming soon. Welcome to the team, Chad K!

Premium dropped this new video today giving you a look at how Chad Kerley does his 360 bunny hops. There’s also some truck driver and tuck no-hander action mixed in for good measure. Dialed!
“The ‘How-To’ video is no where near a new concept. There has been a how-to do almost everything imaginable. Most are long, drawn out videos, more boring to watch than insightful and inspiring. So we decided to take the ‘How-To’ back it’s simplest form. One rider, doing one trick, documented the best way possible. So enjoy as Chad Kerley enlightens you on the fundamentals of how to execute a proper 360 bunny-hop. Take this new found perfection of 360’s and go outside, learn something new and have some fun riding your bike.

Turns out Timm Wiegmann was sitting on some old footage of Chad Kerley and Christian Rigal from an old Nike project from 2009. It’s kind of crazy to think how good Chad was 3 years ago and just the insanely good level both him and Christian have progressed to in just over 3 years. Definitely awesome to see this.
