About two weeks back, word about Chad Kerley’s Vitaminwater Pro Invitational at The Bakery started popping up online. Some of the riders invited were firing out tweets of their invitations and talking about how stoked they are for the contest going down on May 12th in Chicago. There really hasn’t been much detail let out about what was going on, so I figured I’d get ahold of Chad and see if he could maybe give us some answers about what to expect from the contest. All I know, is this sounds like it’ll be one of the best events of the summer. Let’s see what he had to say…

It looks like Chad Kerley and Vitaminwater are teaming up to throw a contest wtih a $20,000 pro purse! There’s not a lot of information, but TCU thinks it is going down at The Bakery since they got the logo on there. If that is the case, I need to get an invite since I’d drive down to Chicago to shoot some photos for surrrrrre. Either way, it looks like it’s going to be a good time and there will be a live broadcast on the Ride BMX site. Look at how stacked that invite list is…
Premium dropped a little update with their 2012 line up. It’s crazy to think how stacked this team is….

Premium Product’s have entered it’s 10th year now and has had Josh Harrington on the team since day one. If you’ve seen Josh ride after all these year’s, you’ll know why he’s still around! Nice guy too!
Sean Ricany is blooming into a great young man and has grabbed a handful of new sponsors lately.
Connor Lodes joined us in 2011 and has such a positive influence on everything. Great guy to have around.
Dan Foley is about to graduate from college so he’ll be on the road a bit more, Dan’s frame “Aurora” is doing well, and is available in blue and black these day’s.
Finally the talk to the town at the moment is 18yr old Chad Kerley. Chad has officially blown up in the BMX scene and is just incredible to watch ride. Glad to have this guy around and I’m sure you’ll be seeing more than just signature peg’s from this guy in 2012.
