Review: Steadicam Smoothee

All right, so I’m no Matty Lamert or Will Evans when it comes to putting videos together. I’m actually pretty dusty since it’s been quite a few months since I put anything together too. Either way, above is a new edit I threw together of some clips of Conrad Heppner, Jesse Higgins, Blake Waters, Chase Bilich, Colton Walker and myself that I have been collecting the past few weeks during sessions at Bluff Valley’s Over the Top Skatepark using this new Stedicam Smoothee steadicam for my GoPro that I’ve been testing out for a review. Slow Mo Monday – Dennis Enarson & Colton Walker

Blake Waters sent over his latest Slow-Mo Monday clip which features Haro‘s Dennis Enarson and their newest flow rider, Colton Walker. Dennis gets some action from Texas Toast and Colton roasts the Heaton gap at Jellystone and blasts the box at Bluff Valley. Take a peek. This is rad.

NoWear Crew at Over The Top

This past Sunday, the NoWear crew made a trip to Bluff Valley’s Over The Top Skatepark for a session. I happened to be there, but spent the whole time starting to feel the effects of food poisoning from something I had the night before. However, that’s beside the point, haha. Colton Walker, Tim Oliver, Fenger, Pirate, Karl Hinkley and a bunch of dudes were shredding the park hard all day and it was a damn good session. Blake Waters pulled out his camera and filmed a bunch of the clips for this new edit. Check it!

I can’t believe how much Colton Walker progresses each time I see him ride. Here’s a fresh video of him getting some riding time in at Bluff Valley’s Over the Top Skatepark and the Jellystone Skatepark in Wisconsin. Word on the street is that he’s getting hooked up by Haro now too, which is pretty sweet. Check this out for sure.

The Factory at the 2012 Minnesota State Fair

Every year at the Minnesota State Fair, 3rd Lair Skatepark puts on BMX and skateboard shows for the thousands or thousands of people who are there. This year, the Twin Cities Fantasy Factory crew joined up with the 3rd Lair guys to produce an even bigger show than they have in the past. This is a look at all the wild riding they threw down for the crowds. Awesome.

I’ve been watching Colton Walker grow up the past few years through his riding and every time I get a chance to ride with him he’s doing something bigger and better than the last. Here’s his latest edit for QBMX where he rides the Bluff Valley skatepark, Jellystone and The Kitchen. The kid absolutely shreds and it sounds like he made finals of the Free Flow Tour this year, so expect to see more from him soon!
