All right, so I’m no Matty Lamert or Will Evans when it comes to putting videos together. I’m actually pretty dusty since it’s been quite a few months since I put anything together too. Either way, above is a new edit I threw together of some clips of Conrad Heppner, Jesse Higgins, Blake Waters, Chase Bilich, Colton Walker and myself that I have been collecting the past few weeks during sessions at Bluff Valley’s Over the Top Skatepark using this new Stedicam Smoothee steadicam for my GoPro that I’ve been testing out for a review. The Union – Sunday Session

I picked up a Canon 60D and I wanted to start figuring out all the settings and what not for filming with it. Wyatt Kreel, Conrad Heppner and myself had a session this morning and I ended up filming a bunch of clips. When I actually had time to ride and get a few clips of myself, the thunderstorm rolled in. Bummer. I’ve been playing with the editing/exporting settings a bit and I think I figured out why this came out blurry/not full quality. Sorry about that. Expect the next one to come out cleaner.

Turn it up to 720p. After I changed up some settings in Premiere Pro, I tossed some of the scrap clips into the timeline and exported them different. A little closer to the quality I was aiming for.

Menomonie Jam 2011 Edit

Here’s some footage from the 5th annual Menomonie Jam that went down yesterday in Menomonie, Wisconsin. The weather was a little chilly, windy and cloudy, but the rain didn’t fall. There was a pretty solid turn out of about 20 or so people which was rad since I didn’t expect as many people to turn out with the weather. I decided to pull the camera out for a bit to film some of the fun that was happening. Here’s some fresh footage from Erik Elstran, Conrad Heppner, Spencer Sullivan and more.
Make sure you hit that button on the bottom and turn it on to 720P HD otherwise it looks way worse than it should. The file was too big for Vimeo.

Shout out to the North of Ten crew for getting people together for the day. It was a real good time!

Yesterday, the weather cooperated for the first day in about a week. The sunday session couldn’t be avoided with the weather being so nice. I ended up pulling out my camera to shoot a few photos throughout the day and this is what came from it.
