“Starting as a product promo for a sponsor, this project took on a life of its own when the company and I parted ways at the end of last year. With the resulting sense of change, growth, and uncertainty, I felt the need to keep this project as personal and true to myself as possible. I couldn’t be happier with how everything took shape and I hope it’s as enjoyable to watch as it was to make. Filmed over the past fall and winter in North Carolina, Maryland, Texas, and Japan. With the start of 2014, there were a lot of surprises when it came to sponsor changes and announcements. One of those changes that really caught us off guard was Dan Foley’s decision to step away from the Premium team after a few years with them on his own. It seems like every week goes by and I tell myself “Let’s try to limit this weekly list to 15 or 20″… and then I go and blast past the limit when I dig through the Daily Section to check out all of the videos we posted up. What can be said about Dan Foley that hasn’t been said already? His style has been highly regarded for years now, and it’s already been covered that he knows what he’s doing behind the lens as well. His new #SummerSelfie edit is more of all of that goodness that you want. I don’t need to convince you to watch it, because you probably already are and quit reading this a sentence or two ago.
All the big names guys were out getting used to the set up at the US Open in Huntington Beach. Looks like it should shape up to be a wild event!
