What Is The Street Series?

With the big news about The Street Series for 2015 about to drop, they decided to grab Dakota Roche, Dan Lacey, Ben Lewis , Ed Zunda, and Nathan Williams to talk about just what it’s like to be apart of one of the stops to go along with a ton of footage from last year. All we know is that this year is bound to be even crazier!

4Down 1Up – Team Lacey Full Section

Today is the day! DIG have begun uploading sections from the 4Down 1Up video contest! First up, Team Lacey featuring Bruno Hoffmann and Ben Lewis (who subbed in for Dan Lacey who was injured prior to starting to film for this)! Needless to say, Bruno and Ben ended up cooking up some seriously dialed riding at this park! Grinds and freecoasters! Hit play and check out this BMX video!

DIG caught up with Dan Lacey, Bruno Hoffmann and alternate Ben Lewis to talk about their experience with the 4Down 1Up filming! It sounds like the full videos are dropping soon and you are in for a treat… We may or may not have seen one of the videos from it and it was amazing…

“We’ve been posting a bunch of behind-the-scenes photos from 4Down 1Up on our Insta over the past few weeks and now we’re almost ready to show you what’s been happening at the 4Down park in Hastings, UK. At the end of each 4Down 1Up session we got the teams together to get a little insight into the project and how each guy picked their counterpart. For the next four days we’ll be dropping these On The Couch video interviews – first up, Team Lacey!”

Local BMX – Vans Shop Stop

Some of the Vans team have been down in Australia cruising spots and hitting up shops to hang out with the locals! The crew consisting of Ty Morrow, Dakota Roche, Dan Lacey and Bruno Hoffmann rolled through Local BMX the other day for a session and autograph signing. Check out the video from the day!

Federal Bikes in Madrid

Product: Federal – Dan Lacey Frame

Thinking about a new frame? Have you given Dan Lacey’s signature frame from Federal a look? This full 4130 chromoly frame has a steep 75.5-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 8.8″ stand over height, 11.8″ bottom bracket height and 13.75″ chain stay length (slammed). This frame features an embossed gusset on the down tube, straight gauge top and down tubes, tapered seat and chain stays, an integrated seat post clamp, removable brake mounts, a Mid bottom bracket and 5mm drop outs. The Lacey frame is available in top tube lengths of 20.5″, 20.75″ and 21″ with color options of Forest green, ED black and clear red and a weight of 4.8 lbs.

Review: Above / Below

After a long wait that felt like an eternity thanks to the anticipation, the “Above Below” video was finally released on iTunes today! This video, produced by Monster and DIG is a different approach to the traditional BMX full-length video featuring the likes of Dakota Roche, Dan Lacey, Nathan Williams, Ben Lewis, Ed Zunda and Fernando Laczko. With so much hype leading up to this one, it was hard not to hit that download video and see just what these guys have been working on with film maker, Rich Forne! After checking out the video, we decided to do a quick review for those of you still on the fence about checking this one out!
