Locked In Barcelona

You can always count on some great riding when a BMX video pops up from Barcelona! Especially when the Bespaliy brothers are involved! Check out this dialed new video featuring Max, Igor, Sergei Nogaev and Kirill Shatalov going to work on spots all over the city during their unexpectedly longer visit. “We’ve got some jaw dropping riding for you in this one via Max and Igor Bespaliy, Sergei Nogaev and Kirill Shatalov. After flying out to Barcelona for what was originally meant to be a two week trip, the guys ended up being trapped there because of the COVID situation. You could get stuck in a lot of worse places I guess! Either way, the guys got some incredible footage out there and sure did make the most of their trip. Here’s the full story via Sergei:” – DIG

“After 40 days locked up in a house because of a lockdown, we went to a completely new Barcelona with free streets without tourists. Since all flights were closed, there were almost no ways to get home to Russia, we decided to stay. So, we have enough time to explore remote areas and try to shoot something unique in relation to the videos that we filmed earlier. Fortunately, I took a small handycam with me! So it took a couple months to get these clips, before the Twins started their monster project. It was an incredible experience: earning money abroad, everyday spots exploring in the areas we would never visited, parties on the roofs and the main thing – we met many good guys who made this trip the best! Much thanks to Viktor Bako, Santiago Laverde, Julian, Ellia boy and others for everything! Barcelona became our second home! Hope to visit it soon!”

DVC BMX Street Jam Highlights

It’s been awesome seeing jams happening on the regular again. Here’s a highlight video from the DVC jam that went down over in Portugal recently! It looks like there was a solid turn out and it was a day filled with riding and good times! Check out what went down!

“DVC out in Portugal threw a street jam a few weeks back and it looked like a wild day. Things really start heating up from around the 2 minute mark in this.

“‘This day in Bmx was a very special one for me and i think for the scene in Portugal. Everyone went beyond himself and the Energy was just more than Intense. I’m Happy to say that now one got serious hurt and i think everyone of us will remember the scenes of the Jam.
I really hope that every single person who supported us, who showed up and witnessed, everyone involved, everyone around – that all of us get inspired and motivatedto push beyond our barriers even harder in the future!

Building A DIY Full Pipe

We’ve seen a lot of DIY spots over the years, but this is the first one we’ve seen with a full pipe that we can think of! Here’s a documentary style video showing how Mat Burton and crew built their own full pipe / bowl corner to ride, along with the battle to get it right. Take a look!
