Retreat to BaySixty6

Here’s the latest Fast Forward BMX edit from Epic TV featuring a few of the U.K’s finest getting some time in at BaySixty6 skatepark! Check it!

“It’s hard to believe that despite so many talented riders living in and around England’s capital, Nike’s BaySixty6 remains the only covered skate park within two hours from London. Formally ‘Play Station Skatepark’ it was bought out by Nike Skateboarding two years ago and the gloomy, haggard park underwent a full refurbishment resulting in undoubtedly the best park to ever be built under a bridge…at least in the UK. BMX riders are only allowed to ride BaySixty6 twice a week, with one of those sessions being a shared (and usually packed) Sunday afternoon. The other is the now classic Tuesday ‘Bike Night’. One Day with Chris Courtenay

This video is kind of crazy if you think about it… Chris Courtenay flew from Australia to California for a few months of sun and spots and JC Pieri made a trip over from France to film… They ended up crossing paths and spending a day together where they filmed this dialed video of Chris throwing down at a handful of parks! Just crazy how BMX works like that, haha. Enjoy!

If BMX is about having a blast with friends, these guys have the formula dialed. Follow them from Benalmádena to Fuengirola and Málaga as they ride a some sick parks. As usual, the new park in Málaga isn’t open, but these riders have come too far to be denied. They hop the fence and get down to business. “Czech BMXer and lover of skinny jeans Michael Beran went to FISE Marseille and had an amazing week. He competed, shot street clips, and had another big fall. And he did it all brakeless. He may not have made the finals of the competition, but he got some very sick clips, both of himself, and of his friends stomping a couple of insane, world-first moves. Eight months after knee surgery he is definitely getting back into form. Keep it locked for episode 4 as he jets to Canada with Drew Bezanson for a crazy, hilarious time.”

Kevin Kalkoff in Malaga

Kevin Kalkoff made his way over to Malaga last December and spent some time cruising around the city with Ruben Alcantara! This video gives us a look at everything he got into during his visit! What I can’t figure out is why they got kicked out of the park that Ruben designed by security? You would think it would be open to BMX?

“Frenchman Kevin Kalkoff went to Málaga, Spain to ride their new bowl but got kicked off by security when he got there. No problem, Ruben Alcantara was his guide and he had the skinny on plenty of other spots. Ruben, Kevin and the crew spent their time sessioning every corner of this jewel of the Costa del Sol – from street to park and even a little dirt.“

Take a look at the EC4 trails over in Poland of the 4th episode of Dawid Godziek’s Dirty Spots series!

“There are only three rules at the EC4 trails in Łódź, Poland: 1. No pedaling. 2. No tail whips. 3. If you ride the jumps you need to help maintain the jumps. Course, everyone ignores number 3. Despite the small maintenance team, the EC4 trails is one of the cooler jump tracks in Europe. Built and maintained for over 10 years, this is a demanding, curvy course full of corners, hips, bumps and anything else the course designers feel like throwing at you. And yea, they love throwing things at you. Don’t be fooled by the small size of the jumps either, the tightness of the course combined with all the trees means you can easily get hurt if you’re not focused and well prepared. “
