The Skatepark of Malaga dropped a new video featuring Ruben Alcantara riding and talking a little bit about the skatepark and how it all came to be (in Spanish). At the 3:50 mark, it gets to the riding from the Etnies Jam that went down for the official grand opening of the park a few weeks back! The park was packed and the place looks absolutely amazing to ride!

Ride BMX caught up with the Etnies crew a little while back during their stay in Austin, Texas to film for the “Chapters” DVD! Get some perspective from the process with Aaron Ross along with a bunch of riding footage!

If you follow Aaron Ross on Twitter or Instagram, there’s a good chance you caught a glimpse of one of his two new signature shoes; the Scout and Marana Vulc. If you have been riding BMX for a while, there’s a good chance that you pretty much rock the same shoes whether it’s riding, chilling or just out around town. A little over a year ago we started seeing a more comfortable style of shoe popping up that is light weight and more ideal for wearing when you aren’t riding. A perfect example of this in the Scout from Etnies. For 2015, Etnies and Aaron decided it would be a good idea to do a more traditional BMX shoe to go along side one of these Scout shoes. We we’re really digging the look of these, so we decided to pick up a pair to get a closer look! If you’re looking for some new shoes to wear when you aren’t riding, these might just be what you are trying to get on your feet. Let’s take a closer look!

Is it time for some new shoes? We were due for a new pair and started looking around to realize that Chase Hawk has a new signature from Etnies out, which is his second signature shoe from them! Some of you might have seen his signature Marana that dropped a little while back but might not have been feeling the red colorway it came in. For this version, Etnies and Chase have gone with a clean and classic black using the Jameson MT for the style! If you’re digging the look of these, take a closer look after the jump for more photos and full details!
To say that the Etnies team is completely stacked and that we’re beyond excited for the “Chapters” video would be an understatement. Here’s a little teaser of clips that won’t be making it into the full video for you to get an idea of just how good this is going to be! Enjoy!
