Product: Fit Mac Bar

November 3, 2011

Yesterday we got a look at Shawn McIntosh’s new Fit Mac signature frame. Today, we have a look at his Mac bars. These straight gauge 4130 chromoly tubing bars have .065″ thick walls that are heat-treated with their 4Q baked system. The Mac bars come with a 8.75″ rise, 28.5″ width, 11-degrees of backsweep and 4-degrees of upsweep. They feature a big box design, dual radius bends with larger top bends which increase the strength of the bars. Made right here in America with a weight of 2 lbs. Available now!

“When I had the chance to design a bar, I knew exactly what I wanted it to be… nice and tall, wide and strong. It’s the best bar I’ve ever ridden. Bigger bends for stronger support ’cause I’m not trying to have my bar break on me. All straight-gauge tubing that’s ready for you to bring the heat and take a beating.” ” – Shawn McIntosh / FitBikeCo.com

The Mac frame features a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.6″ bottom bracket height, 9″ stand over height and a 13.35″- 13.625″ chainstay length. Fit / 1664 – Andrew White

November 1, 2011

“This months featured rider is Fit Bikes grinder Andrew White. Andrew had some bad luck with a knee injury recently, the crash is actually in this edit.. Even with the injury cutting his year short Andrew has been hard at work filming for his Fu5 video part and still had enough clips logged to put together this dope edit. Thanks to Charlie Crumlish for putting the edit together. Hit play and watch Andy use them pegs.” – 1664
