Have you ever wondered what it’s like to work at S&M Bikes and Fit Bike Co.? When you think of a job at a BMX company like those two brands, a lot of people think of things like being a Pro rider, a welder, designer or a sales rep. Those are all pretty cool jobs, but there’s a lot more to it that you might not ever consider like accounting, figuring out the logistics to get product shipped from the manufacturer to the brand or distributors, even IT keeping the computers running smooth. It also usually involves people who wear a lot of different hats to ensure everything gets done. Kareem Williams recently spent some time bouncing around the S&M Bikes and Fit Bike Co. warehouse to find out what all the different people do there. As it turns out, a lot of people do everything and that’s the key to keeping the wheels turning! Check it out!
Fit Bike Co. – Doing Fit Since 2000
Fit Bike Co. will be celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2020 and there has never been a better time to take a look back at the incredible history they have had with their team riders. This video will take so many riders way back watching this, getting a look at some serious fire from the OG team all the way up to the current line up. A lot has changed over the years, but Fit have continued to keep the party going strong. Congratulations to Fit on this huge milestone! Hit play because this is a definite must see!
“Y2K. Some surmised the world was about to end, but we were just getting started.
When Mike Aitken, Brian Foster and Van Homan left their respective high-profile programs to join FITBIKECO. — a fledgling brand spawned by S&M Bikes — they became part of an enigma… an absurdly talented team of riders atop the the world’s most-trusted bikes.
Next came the addition of underground trail legend Justin Inman, followed by up-and-coming street sensei like Edwin de la Rosa and Tom White and suddenly we had assembled what many would consider the most-stacked squad in BMX history.
With a plethora of incredibly influential riders on our roster in the two decades since (Chase Hawk, Dakota Roche, Eddie Cleveland, Shawn McIntosh and Brandon Begin) and a hard-earned reputation for designing and delivering the best bikes in the business year after year, we’re paying homage to that history in our 2020 bike line.
If you’ve been along for the ride, you will no doubt recognize some of the brand’s most classic colorways and graphics. If you are just joining us, we’re sure our throwback aesthetic will feel as fresh today as it did the first time around.
Today Tom Dugan leads a legion of bikers like Ethan Corriere, Justin Spriet, Jordan Hango, Matt Nordstrom, Morgan Long, Austin Augie, Yumi Tskuda and Charles LittleJohn doing it for Fit. And 20 Years in, guys like Mike Aitken, Brian Foster and Van Homan are still holding it down for us too.
We compiled these clips to celebrate everything FITBIKECO. is, has been and will be, and to say thank everyone who has ever repped FIT. #STAYFIT #STILLFIT #DOINGFITSINCE2000

“We loaded up the van with an eclectic group of bikers including some Fit boys, a couple of S&M dudes and some of the homies. We took to the transition to rip a sweet DIY spot, a couple of street nuggets and one awesome pool.
