Ben Ward and S&M / FIT Part Ways
Well here’s some surprising news… It turns out that Ben Ward has been let go from S&M Bikes, Fit and the other brands under that roof in California. Ben’s name might not be super familiar with everyone since his role was behind the scenes, but he has definitely been a key role for all the brands these past few years. Definitely will be interesting to see what comes next for Ben!
“After almost 4 years with FIT as a Brand Manager, Team Wrangler and the Product Designer for S&M, FIT and Revenge, Ben Ward has parted ways with the company. “Due to the lack of continued work, and a change in business climate my position was eliminated. It’s been simply incredible working to build teams and develop products for new brands while revamping and improving the extensive product lines between S&M, FIT, Credence, Intrikat and Revenge. “Tom Dugan made his way to Malaga, Spain to ride and rub shoulders with OG legends BF and Ruben Alcantara earlier this spring. Tom and Brian’s primary objective was to put some footage in the can for their DVD parts, but as an added bonus, Stew Johnson was kind enough to throw some extras into this little edit for us. Enjoy!

Jack Sheehan – An Afternoon Testing the Fit Foster Stem

Product: Fit Bike Co. – FK Fork
It looks like the guys over at Fit Bike Co. have been busy cooking up a new fork for you guys. The FK fork is made from 100% 4Q Baked heat-treated chromoly right here in the U.S. This 320mm long fork features a 162mm 1-piece CNC machined steerer tube with with double butted and tapered legs that fit 2.40″ tires and laser cut 3/8″ drop outs with plenty of peg clearance. The FK fork comes in two versions; 1.0 which features a 25mm offset or 1.3 which features a 33mm offset with black for the color and 2.26 lbs. for the weight! I’d imagine these will also be available in chrome sooner than later as well.
