Well would you look at that… It’s already Saturday again. If you don’t know what that means by now, you’re blowing it. It’s time for another round of Products! This week we’re going to take a closer look at the new Key sprocket from Fit, the Cloud seat from Sunday, the Protocol heat-treated cranks from Madera, the new Imperial sprocket guard from Profile Racing and finally the ROTO front hub from 34R. Let’s get into this because I’m sure you’re itching to go out and ride like myself!
Fit Bike Co. have done a limited edition Rasta run of Mike Aitken’s signature S4 topload stem. This stem is made right here in America with 6061-T6 aluminum. It features a 53mm reach, 24mm rise (6mm inverter) and Grade 8 allen bolts. This stem is also available in blue, black, red and silver along with the Rasta color and a weight of 11.5 oz. Have your local shop get you one ordered up today because these stems won’t be around long!
Just two days ago we reported that Fit had a new sprocket coming out, and now we have even better news: Fit has a full guard version of their new sprocket in production as well! Full guard sprockets are pretty awesome if you love to grind, so if you don’t have one yet, maybe this is the time to get on with it! I just stumbled upon this sweet little nugget of information, and man am I excited! As you most likely gathered from the title of this post, Fit is mid-production on a DVD that should be out just in time to ask Santa for. Stew Johnson is the man behind the lens, and it sounds like they are already off to a strong start.
Fit has a new sprocket out that is a bit of a nod to their roots. Check out what they had to say about it:
“Our new KEY sprocket draws inspiration from some of its classic predecessors but it’s got a new tooth profile so the teeth last longer and you get better chain engagement. Available in Matte Black and Bright Silver in 25t, 27t, 28t, 30t and 31t.”
Man, where does time go? I just realized we’ve been doing these Products: columns every Saturday for over a year already.
