Okazaki Super Flat Ground

Just spotted this over on Flat Matters and was so blown away. The flatland scene over in Okazaki, Japan is unreal! Check out this video featuring a bunch of the young guns, along with a few of the old guys that have been teaching these kids how to ride flatland BMX like champs! This is amazing.

Yesterday was the qualifiers for Flatland at FISE Montpellier 2015! They were supposed to do BMX park qualifiers, but due to rain they had to reschedule for today. Photographer Chase Davidson was there to capture all the action that went down during Flatland qualifiers and even a few photos before the rain hit the park course and shut things down! Wow… This is NUTS! We just spotted this BMX video over on Flat Matters of Brandon Derbowka on doing a bunch of suicide whips… Yeah, basically a bunch of whiplashes in a row without your hands. We don’t know how the hell he does it, but it’s amazing!

Neon Love – Black Lights & Late Nights

Not sure how this Matti Hemmings video has been online for almost a year and we’re just seeing it… BUT! This is pretty rad. Matti covered his bike in neon paint and got a few black lights to make for a real interesting flatland BMX video. Highly suggest you check this out even if you aren’t into flatland. Actual neon colors on a BMX bike look good!

Viki Gomez in Kuwait

We’re always spotting Viki Gomez in different countries! Here’s his latest BMX video we spotted over on Flat Matters from some time he got in while visiting Kuwait! As always, Viki comes through with some damn dialed riding and the background is pretty interesting with people who have clearly never seen anything like this and the city scene as well.

“World Champion BMX Flatland Master Viki Gomez visited Kuwait to put on several shows around the country. We met before in Abu Dhabi and I filmed him there. So we made it a point to try and film while he was here. It came down to the wire and he only had an hour on his last day between shows then he was flying out straight after to Luxembourg. So we ran around like mad shooting in and around Mubarakiya a famous open market and got it done despite the huge crowds and sweltering heat. Luckily we had Kuwait BMX legend Mansour Al-Safran to help control the crowds while he is recovering from a back injury!
