J.F. Boulianne Video Bike Check

January 18, 2013

Flatland has been producing hard today. Here’s another awesome video. This time around it’s from Odyssey featuring J.F. Boulianne getting some riding in and talking about his bike. Awesome.

“We shot this video a couple weeks after our TEXAS TOAST JAM. JF hopped IN THE VAN with us on the way back to California and ended up spending quite a bit of time out here. If you’re ever driving down PCH near Zuma beach, keep your eyes peeled on the parking lots by the coast. You might just catch a heavy flatland sesh going down.

JF’s home in Montreal now and nursing some cracked ribs. Once he heals up though, it’s a guaranteed bet he’ll be hitting the road again. In the mean time, here’s his bike check along with a couple clips. Enjoy!“

Enjoy The Trick 2013 Winter Classic

January 18, 2013

This is rad. Mark Rainha put together this dialed video from the Enjoy The Trick Winter Classic flatland jam. It looks like it was an awesome time and some real good riding went down. If you’re into flatland this is for you for sure.

“The annual Enjoy The Trick Winter Classic went down on January 5th, 2013, at The Lumberyard in Portland, Oregon. The sponsors came through in a big way, so it’s our honor to personally thank Eric Stefano and Primo/Tips Plus as well as Henry Davis from East County BMX in San Diego. Primo/Tips Plus sponsored the bunny-hop contest, with the winner snagging a brand new Federal Washington frame. Primo also came through with goodie bags for all the flatland riders. East County BMX sponsored the flatland jam contest with the winner taking home a brand new Flatware frame. Without their support as well as support from The Lumberyard, Goods BMX, Ink Brigade and Community BMX, these jams just would not be possible. Portland is a BMX city, and no matter what discipline you ride, the community here supports. Enjoy The Trick!” – Anthony Buglio

George Manos “The Humbling”

January 10, 2013

Tasos Kosmatopoulos is on it this morning! Here’s a new flatland edit featuring George Manos you’ll definitely want to see. The riding is good and the filming and editing is on point.

“Flatland bmx is very intense and demands huge levels of patience . Sometimes its even harder to perform on demand or in front of a camera. As riders we all have spent hours and hours trying to pull our hardest tricks. Start-fail-restart-fail -restart and so on. During this time a game of persistense and giving up goes on in our head. This is the process of “The Humbling”. In the end you either end up victorious or not. As I was filming George I was impressed by his drive , persistense and mildness of his riding and character. The colouring in this vid depicts exactly what my impression of his riding is . Mystic . This is part 1 of a series of vids on his flatland bmx skills.”
