Where would you go if you could take a trip anywhere in the world for a week of riding? There are a lot of places to go that would make for an amazing riding trip, that’s for sure. However, there is one place that I’m sure crosses everybody’s mind at one point or another and that’s Barcelona. The Freed Bikes team decided it was time to give their passports some love and make a trip outside of the U.S for their first big team trip with this newly formed brand. Andy Smith, River Waldren, Chris Chamberlain and Corey Foster along with filmer Bobby Kanode packed their bags and made the the flight from Arizona over to this BMX hot spot the other week where they found good spots, new friends and plenty of fun. Below we’ve got a bunch of photos they snapped during the trip to give you a look at just what they got into. Take a peek and expect a full edit to drop from the trip soon!
For the 50th edition of products, I’ve decided to change things up a bit. The roman numerals we usually do were getting a little ridiculous, so from now on we’ll just run with the numbers. Otherwise, we’re keeping this party going with 5 fresh products for you to take a closer look at. Over the last few weeks, we’ve been seeing more and more of a new Arizona based brand that’s getting the ball rolling with a line up of some quality American made products and a team loaded with up and coming shredders. Obviously, like everyone else, we were asking ourselves “Where the hell did Freed Bikes come from and what are they all about?”… So we got ahold of them to find out their story. Turns out that this new brand is already making some real solid moves forward with a strong belief in quality over quantity and the goal to help BMX grow over take it for all its got. Let’s take a closer look at this brand in this new On The Horizon!
