We were wondering when some footage from this contest was going to surface. A few weeks back the G-Shock Real Toughness contest went down in Japan and based off this video, it was a pretty wild contest where some of your favorite street riders went head to head. The filming and editing in this video is fast paced and pretty crazy… So be warned if you get motion sickness from watching movies. Otherwise, enjoy.
“The 2015 G-Shock Real Toughness event just went down in Tokyo, Japan, and it was unlike any other event we’ve seen before. Beyond the BMX street riding comp, there was also a flatland jam, skateboarding, breakdancing, DJs, graffiti artists and more all under one roof. The street comp saw Tyler Fernengel and Devon Smillie (team USA), Alex Donnachie and Ollie Shields (team UK) Bruno Hoffman and Fernando Laczko (team Germany, and Rim Nakamura and Shota Higa (team Japan) battle it out over three heats with team USA walking away with the win. Here’s a recap video provided by the event.” – Ride BMX
