G-Shock Real Toughness 2015 – BMX Street

We were wondering when some footage from this contest was going to surface. A few weeks back the G-Shock Real Toughness contest went down in Japan and based off this video, it was a pretty wild contest where some of your favorite street riders went head to head. The filming and editing in this video is fast paced and pretty crazy… So be warned if you get motion sickness from watching movies. Otherwise, enjoy.

“The 2015 G-Shock Real Toughness event just went down in Tokyo, Japan, and it was unlike any other event we’ve seen before. Beyond the BMX street riding comp, there was also a flatland jam, skateboarding, breakdancing, DJs, graffiti artists and more all under one roof. The street comp saw Tyler Fernengel and Devon Smillie (team USA), Alex Donnachie and Ollie Shields (team UK) Bruno Hoffman and Fernando Laczko (team Germany, and Rim Nakamura and Shota Higa (team Japan) battle it out over three heats with team USA walking away with the win. It’s funny how technology has evolved and changed over the years and you find new ways to connect different things you use throughout the day to one thing you never really thought you would have the capability of doing. The other day our friends at The Watch Hut hit us up to see if we had any interest in checking out one of the G-Shock watches the carry. Instantly, we started thinking that it might be a good idea because we’ve seen them involved with BMX quite a bit over the years sponsoring events and different riders like Nigel Sylvester. We remembered a promo video Nigel did a little while back for the GB6900B and figured that would be a good one to check out. Let’s take a closer look at this watch.

Courage Adams Interview

When we look back at 2014 and think about up and coming riders that really caught our attention, we always think of Courage Adams. After a few years of hard work, he was given the well deserved bump up to the Flybikes and Red Bull Spain pro teams and his riding just keeps getting better and better every single time we see his name pop up! We didn’t know a ton about Courage beyond who he is riding for, that he always seems very positive and has a smile on his face and just how incredibly good he is.
